This mall is probably the coolest attraction to visit in Shreveport/Bossier area. It is an outdoor mall next to a beautiful boardwalk. The boardwalk is a great place to walk all year round and check out some pretty views of the Red River.
There are lots of stores in this mall such as Banana Republic, Crocs, Dressbarn etc. The Bass Pro shop has a gator pond which is pretty cool! There is an arcade with some nice games as well as restaurants to dine-in. There is an onsite Marriott hotel. This mall is close to casinos like Margaritaville, Sam’s Town and El Dorado which is convenient if you are looking to visit a few attractions in one day.

The boardwalk is great, but the behind the scenes upkeep is lousy. The bathrooms here were filthy, please step it up on this. A nasty bathroom can ruin someone’s trip

I enjoy going to this outlet mall! There are few things to do in Shreveport and the outlet is good for a nice outing. They don’t have a ton of stores, but there is a good amount. Of the stores they have, there is a variety so that every person can find a store that they like. I like that the store usually have good discount merchandise! I am always up for a good deal! My favorite place to go at this mall is nike. They usually have good deals and a large selection. I also like to visit fossil, although I don’t but stuff from there as often because although it is a good deal, it is still pricey. I also recently had the orange leaf frozen yogurt and it was delicious! This mall is great for a nice day or even to get out of the house! It has a few places to eat and different stores to shop at.

Environment: it was about 80 degrees when I was here. The boardwalk was clean and not very crowded
Appearance: very clean with plenty of shops!
Overall: I love that Shreveport is stepping it’s game up! I would definitely come back

It’s HOT AS HELL. literally. Ok that said, pretty decent selection. Lots of children’s clothes shops. A Nike outlet. Hagar and casual male right before the massive Bass Pro.
There is an amazing jerky spot on the back side away from the river. Oh, yes, the river. With all the rain the last few months it was overflowing. Nearly entered the Hooters and Joes Crab Shack.
The wing place is pretty good and the joes has some amazing food (these folks do southern spicy all the time).
You can see this entire strip in less than half a day, and you’ll want to because the heat, humidity and bugs will chase you off quick. Lol

I really don’t know how to rate this place. I looks nice and in a good location, but there aren’t very many stores… which is pretty disappointing. Maybe I’m just spoiled, and used going to the outlets in San Diego. Shrugs…

Wow. I see a lot of mixed reviews. I will just stick to the facts I guess. The good. Nice location for a mall. Beautiful view at certain times of the day. They have just about everything you could ask for in a shopping Mall. The bad. Prices are a joke. I can get better prices for the same stuff at Dillards. Back when outlet malls first started you shopped them because they bypassed the middle man and saved you money from markups. That folks is no longer true. Not only does Dillards have better prices but Ebay stomps the prices. Smokers. I hate that stink. I’ve been to other Malls in other states that have no smoking even in an outdoor Mall. That should be the case here to. Very few places to rest with shade and no misting points like say at the zoo… to cool off. Follow?
Over all nothing to write home about. Cant really give it an 3 A-OK because its not… Its not that I hated it… just wont be back, really no reason to.

Absolutely gorgeous place to spend a few hours. What isn’t there to like about being on the riverfront. This place is nice with a few shops, several restaurants, some shops and a perfect place to spend a little time next to the river.
Definitely a nice place to visit.

I love this place all the stores are awesome but its the environment that is so wonderful. Its always so clean and the view of the river is beautiful! Even in the summer heat this place seems to always have a breeze! Plus the way the buildings r set up you most always have shade of a building as you stroll! You can always hop on the trolley! And there is such good food!!!

Beautiful, but for an «outlet» it’s not really that bargain bottom place. I liked the walk and picturesque river scenes. Lots of restaurants to meet family. Bass Pro shop is fun to browse and check the fish tank. Tons of garage parking.

Great walking experience and diversion from the casinos!
Really like the mix of stores/outlet shoppes and restaurants. Very pleasant walking experience where there is a «old time mainstreet/boardwalk» feel. Walk across «streets» to stores but no cars to worry about. Also close to Red River. You will see lots of locals walking or running or exercising close to river. It’s similar but not exactly like Bricktown in Oklahoma City or San Antonio Riverwalk.
One thing I noticed was friendliness of the staff at both Hooter’s Restaurant and stores I visited. It was NOT that crowded while we were there. Mid-week. But everyone seemed pretty nice and pleasant. That’s always a nice touch at a quasi/tourist retail development.
Visited June 2014. Good for singles, couples, and families.

When I visited, there was noooo one here. Which I happen to like, nice and quiet. Lots of stores were shut down, like the guess outlet. On the plus side, with the stores that were there, there were lots of sales going on. Good fro yo at orange leaf, cute clothes at Maurice’s.

I really like coming here with the family. There’s a few selection of things you can do here and they’re all walking distance. Bass Pro is always a fun place to stop by; theres Regal Theaters if you’re itching to watch a movie and a handful of restaurants and ice cream/yogurt/cupcake shops.
Definitely worth a couple of your hours!

We make this trip during the Christmas season each year. Pick things up, lunch, walk, then back to Texas.
Some stores aren’t as good as others but this is about personal preference.

I really do love this place! Great place to spend some time and money. Opened in Spring-Summer of 2005. This all outdoor shopping area has a covered parking garage, a Marriott Courtyard hotel, large Imax movie theater, several restaurants such as Joe’s Crab Shack, Saltgrass Steakhouse, Buffalo Wild Wings, and Hooters among others. Several stores and outlets in which to shop. It’s also a great place to people watch and it neighbors the large Bass Pro Shop and Jimmy Buffet’s Margaritaville Resort Casino, as well as Horseshoe Casino. There is also a free trolley that rolls throughout the shopping area. This is the commercial crown jewel in all of Bossier City, no doubt, and maybe in all of northwestern Louisiana. This is about as good as it gets.

I really like this place, I spend most of my visits here frequenting Copeland’s and O’Briens pub! I love how easy the parking garage is to navigate and how well placed my two favorites are.
I’ve been into a few shops, Guess was really disappointing. I still wish Michael Kors and Coach would make an outlet here.

Hands-down the best shopping venue in Shreveport with many stores and eateries. There are also many outlet stores with great prices. The complex is beautifully planned and designed and has a wonderful view of downtown Shreveport from the river.

The Boardwalk is a nice stop if you are in Shreveport. I don’t know if it’s really worth an hour drive from elsewhere just to see more shops and a nice view. But it is definitely worth it if you live or are going to be nearby.
They have a nice outdoor walking mall. They have some good discount stores, the outlet Nine West and outlet Gap were where we stopped. I got some great deals at Gap ($ 10 dresses!). They have some good eats too like Copeland’s Cheesecake and a great sandwich place.
After we walked along the boardwalk by the river, we took a few pictures, then we stopped in SaltGrass for their cheap happy hour margaritas and appetizers. Nice day and something better to do in Shreveport if you don’t like casinos.

The eating there is better than the shopping. So’s the movies, I imagine… Shopping to kill time, perfect place. Shopping to make out with some good things? Not so much. It’s expensive! Or really cheap stuff… It’s rather large, but yeah… the eats are def the winners here.

I’m giving the Boardwalk 3 stars simply because it’s about the only decent area to go to in Shreveport to walk, shop and eat. It has a variety of chain restaurants and a few decent stores (I guess). Several of the restaurant have patios with a good view of downtown Shreveport (for whatever that’s worth). I have to go to Shreveport on business every few months and I always come down here simply because there isn’t much else to do in Shreveport other than gamble.

I think that anyone visiting Shreveport/Bossier LA for the first time should come here at least once. of not for anything else just the short walk for light exercise.
The boardwalk has quite a few shops and a theatre and if it had American Eagle and Victoria’s Secret I would probably only shop here instead of the nearby malls.
The restaurants are all «OK».there is a Buffalo Wild WIngs, Joe’s Crabshack, A Cheesecake Factory knockoff and other restraunts. As previously stated if your new to the area check it out there is alot to do aroud the boardwalk unfortunately none of it is located there :(
If you find yourself sittinga round your house on a Saturday night with nothing to do make the trip and take a walk along the river :)
