Sundance Cantina

Sundance Cantina is one of the best casual restaurants in the entire casino-​land of Shreveport Bossier! Will the Margaritaville Casino have a Margaritaville Bar and Grill if and when the good voters of Bossier City give the go-​ahead in November? (Please do, BC voters! Las Vegas is opening a Margaritaville Casino on The Strip in October! It’ll just be us and Vegas!)…We shall see! I would be willing to give up the search for my last shaker of salt, to say that there will be such a bar and grill on the Bossier property in the next two years… But, back to the wonderful Sundance Cantina located inside the fabulous Boomtown Casino in Bossier City! To call Sundance simply a Mexican restaurant would be a serious disservice to the restaurant itself. They do have THE BEST SALSA in all of these parts… It’s true. But, they also have delicious and interesting burgers, salads and sandwiches. I LOVE the Latin Pulled Pork Sandwich… OMG! Just incredible! It comes with seasoned fires of King-​sized onion rings and it’s only 9 bucks! Speaking of Margaritas, they have their own homemade Margarita called a Boomarita… that will put you in more than just your happy place and can hang with, dare I say, Superior Bar and Grill’s Margarita on any given day or night. I love the atmosphere of the Sundance Cantina… The circular bar is cool… It’s great for watching football… This is a great free live music venue… I love it when Dirtfoot has played here and I love it when The Stiff Necked Fools play here… last time I saw The Stiff Necked Fools here, I had to take a cab home! That’s what a good time I had! I want to check out Red Thread the next time they play this joint! And the service here from the bartenders to the servers, barbacks and managers is always, always top-​of-​the line, on-​top-​of-​it, all-​over-​it, amazing! I always have a good time here! Sundance is just a great place, inside what is quickly becoming this area’s greatest casino and hotel! Bring it on, Parrot Head!
