Great hotel that is connected to the Homewood Suites. They share a pool, courtyard, and gym. The gym needs attention as only 1 of the 4 treadmills was working this week. If you’ve been to a newer HGI then you know what to expect. Cleans rooms with a microwave and fridge in each. I stay here or at the Homewood when I’m in town.

I lay over at the La Quinta accross the street and come here for breakfast. $ 10 is a good deal pretty much anywhere you go. The service is good and so is the food.

The hotel looks great. It smells clean and it looks clean. The gym is nice and clean. The stay was going great until I focused more clearly on things… My allergies were worst inside the hotel room rather than outside where my allergies are supposed to be worst. The vents in the bathrooms have not been cleaned for a long time if ever. In between the night tables and the bed there is dust build-up along with other things that have not been vacuumed. The mattress is on a bed frame. That bed frame has never been vacuumed. Dust build-up with what looks like dandruff pieces, different colors of hairs, boogers, eye boogers, food pieces etc… I am surprised that I have not woken up with any bed bug bites because if I was a bed bug that would be a perfect habitat. Finaaaaaaally, I made it to the breakfast kind of a buffet kind of not. I ordered the omelette with potatoes. As I wait on my meal I have an open view to the kitchen. Well, the chefs do not wear gloves. I understand that because many places don’t. However, as I continued to observe for some odd reason the chef kept looking back and forth at the same ticket while continuously setting his fingers on the plate which corresponded to that order(my order). Then the chef scratches the side of his face, continues to go back and forth with the ticket, fingers on plate. All of a sudden he disappears and comes back with a pack of spinach for my omelette. What happens next? The same hand he scratched his face with and put on my plate, he grabbed a handful of spinach… I cancelled my order. Something positive: the servers are very friendly, patient and attentive. The hotel looks great BUT I am too observant.

I only stay at Hilton properties and Garden Inns are my «sweet spot» of quality and price. Of over 180 nights in recent years, this property is superior! Three very special ladies: Margarita and Kitty at the front desk and Angel at the bar. These ladies went out of their way to make our stay enjoyable with their cheerful attitudes. If smiles alone can be contagious, we should really all catch what these ladies have! The hotel just won a top national award for hotels and I have no doubt they were a bit part of that success. The management was also very helpful. Whether your stay is for business or pleasure, I have no doubt the staff here will go out of their way to make it a great one! The rooms were also great, but I expect that. The gym was also huge!

We stayed here for one night while moving across the country. The staff was very nice, they even have a security shuttle can to take you anywhere in the area! Our room was very nice, but I removed a star because we had a non-smoking room and our bathroom smelled of cigarette smoke. Other than that, the beds and pillows were fantastic! The tv had DirectTV which was great for our 3 year old, not every hotel offers Disney channel! Overall, I would recommend this hotel!

THis is the WIERDEST entrance to a hotel! It shares an entrance with Homewood Suites so when we pulled up the HGI was the building on the right so we went all the way around the building looking for the front entrance. We got back to the front and realized it is a shared entrance… bizarre. Our room was a nice size, bed was super comfy, problem was… it was right by an exit door and we heard it closing ALLNIGHTLONG. To make matters worse, we heard the people upstairs in the room above us all night long. No sleep for the travel weary. Insulation is TERRIBLE. Also — no bathtub, only a shower… no biggie, but just thought I’d mention. Next time I’m going to stay back at the Hilton downtown or Hampton airport.

Used the HGI for a wedding block and it was amazing. Working with Jimi Lindgren on the room block was so easy as he was quick to respond and put more rooms aside when needed. Everyone at this hotel is friendly and are eager to make you feel at home. I definitely recommend this hotel for group blocks to anyone having a large meeting/wedding/event at any time. They are awesome.

Brand-spanking new when I stayed here back in February. I was sad to have to leave. I look forward to staying there when I return to the Bossier City area.

One of the nicer HGI I have stayed at and being a Diamond member, that’s a lot. Newer hotel for the area(which was needed) and a staff was very friendly! I will be back!

Great, friendly staff, very well maintained facilities, and an excellent workout facility. Really enjoyable and intend to stay there again next time I’m in the area.
