Don Juanz embodies a fresh, refined, culinary life-​style that exists in Southern California, Baja Mexico & Bossier City, Louisiana. We specialize in wholesome, high-​quality food prepared without MSG, lard or artificial ingredients. We seek GMO-​Free food sources and we’re vegetarian and gluten-​free friendly. We seek organic (when available) and we use certified sustainable, wild-​caught seafood & raised-​food suppliers. We believe seafood should come from the sea and not a farm, while poultry and beef should always come from a farm, but not a cage. Naturally, our food is fresh, hand-​crafted & made to order.

History

Established in 2006.

Don Juanz is an upscale, fast casual Mexican restaurant & bar with an overall design that was conceived from the taco shacks that line the beaches of Baja, Mexico. Don Juanz features large, high quality portions that are free from MSG & LARD. We prepare our menu daily with the freshest, highest quality ingredients available. All orders are handcrafted– one at a time. Tortillas are made fresh with every order & our meats are lean, marinated, top quality grades. We use only Yellow Fin Tuna (sushi grade) & aged, marinated skirt steak in our tacos & burritos! Our snapper & Texas Brown shrimp is Gulf to table. Margaritas start with 100% fresh fruit purée & hand squeezed lime juice. In fact, we’re the only place this side of Austin that offers an authentic Prickly Pear (cactus fruit) Margarita and a Grilled Tuna taco!
