Way too much tacky trash and very few interesting pieces. For a town with such a rich mid-​century modern design heritage, it’s quite sorry. Looked like a garage sale.

Pretty amazing store in this little artist desert community. Nicely arranged, great prices, and nice art hung on the walls. It’s essentially a retro thrift shop with only high-​end product.
Be sure to inquire about limited business hours during the summer season, which is common for many businesses in the area.

Fantastic finds for mid-​century modern lovers… and in a great mid-​century modern town, to boot!

This is actually a first rate antiques store specializing in mid-​century design and furnishings. I give it the five star rating because it quite effortlessly surpasses all other retail option in Borrego Springs CA. by a large margin. The selection is more like what you would expect in a larger city like SD or LA or SF and compares favorably with similar shops I’ve visited in the Palm Springs area.
Minus is the stuff is priced at retail ± i.e. more then what you would expect to pay. My ebay experienced wife saw stuff she might have bought if the price point had been lower, but I expect this place actually sells alot of stuff on line.
Hours are odd: 10 – 6 wed through sunday, mon and tues by appointment. Worth checking out if you’re in the area.
