I’ve been in here a few times. The staff is knowledge & very helpful. I told them my garden situation & was given the right solution for cover crop. Only outdoor plants though, nothing for indoors. We will be heading back for fig, cherry & hopefully pomegranate trees to get in the ground before its too late in the season.

I purchased a few things here when I lived close by and was pleasantly surprised with their selection and prices. The staff is very knowledgeable too. I had visited several other«well know and popular» places that friends had suggested and no one was as helpful as this place– and they didn’t make me feel stupid.

I am quickly becoming a big fan of this place. Let’s just get down to the nitty-gritty! Their prices are phenomenal! We had to buy 12 fruit trees this weekend and 18.99/tree is way better than 28.99+ at other Nurseries(ah-hem Portland Nursery). We were helped by Judy who was very knowledgeable and actually payed attention to the fact that I had a toddler and suggested varieties of trees that didn’t need spraying of pesticides. Thanks a bunch. And in the words of Arnold Schwarzenegger, «I’ll be back!»

Boring Square Garden Center is noted not only for their friendly and knowledgeable staff, but I have to say, their pricing as well as the available selection of plants and garden supplies makes this center well worth the drive out to Boring. After comparing prices as well as the condition of plants at larger centers in the Portland area, I always find myself coming here when I want something that I know will thrive.
