Had a great tour but started out quiet for 2.5 hrs. Then saw some spouts and chased them but nothing for a bit. Then… Saw a right whale do a deep dive! Rare sighting. Friendly staff and overall great experience.

We had a great time on this whale watch. Saw several humpback whales, the crew was very nice and informative. Didn’t utilize the snack bar, it looked like there were normal snacks and beers available. We actually brought some lunch and ate as we were headed out. Bring a sweater, it was chilly even on the 90+ degree day that we went. It would be of benefit to get there a bit early, we arrived 20 min in advance and many of the top seats were taken up already. Also, the bathrooms were very clean. I thought at first that I was going to be disappointed about the value of this trip, but I thought it was worth the price.

Our family of 4 had a wonderful whale watch trip. We chose the 9:30 tour and it was a beautiful morning. We saw about a dozen whales, seals, porpoises, sunfish, and lots of birds. The guide was very informative and helpful. We would absolutely use this company again and highly recommend it.

From the reviews I read on here I was a little afraid of wasting our money but their prices honestly didn’t seem too high to me so I figured it was worth a shot… We took the 930 am tour and I was not disappointed!!! I am so glad we went!!! We saw about eight or nine whales total; a couple dolphins, 5 Humpback whales, a fin whale, and a seal. It was an amazing experience! There was a pod of three hump back whales, a fin whale and what might have been a calf right in front of us!!! I highly recommend giving it a shot this summer. The staff was friendly, knowledgeable and they allow dogs.

No no no. Paid three hours in advance. Changed mind 1 hour before depature. No refund. Try to sell tickets and owner threw a fit at my wife. Just before depature they let all the free people on for all the unsold seats. Staff is rude, oh so rude. So we went on the whale watch which was really a 3 hour tour like Gilligan’s Isle but your stuck on ship with all of societies dregs since they ride for free. Find another whale watch tour as this must be the very worse of the worst.

Great Cruises, absolutely beautiful and very knowledgeable narration. Unfortunately a horrible job at organizing lines and boarding. Either be the first in line or expect 40 people to cut in front of you.

We went on the seal and lighthouse cruise. The crew were very informative on the wildlife and the area. So many interesting facts given about wildlife, the locals, the lighthouses, lobsters, etc, etc. I think I took more pictures on this cruise than at any other time while in Maine. I’ll limit my photos on here to just a few. This short cruise is well worth the money. Highly recommend!

I’ve been on a number of their whale watches over the years. Sometimes we see tons of them. Sometimes only a couple(or none). Either way, as long as the weather cooperates and you understand you’ll be on a boat in the ocean for 3 hours — it’s a good time! Everyone at Cap N Fish’s has always been very nice and very knowledgeable. Unless you are a marine biologist, you’ll learn something new. There is a bar and some limited food options(chips, hot dogs, etc .). Dress in layers. It can get cold.
