Established in 2014.

Taylored Auto Body & Service opened for business in 2014 and is located in historic Boonton, NJ. It is owned and operated by Jess Moran.

Meet the Business Owner

Business Owner

Jess Taylor Moran has been in the automotive field since his first job at the age of 12. He started by cleaning cars, changing oil and prepping parts for paint at Viking Auto Rebuilders in Rockaway, NJ. The owners of Viking took him under their wings and taught him everything they knew about the business. Jess worked for Viking straight through high school until the age of 22. At this time he was offered a position as a class A auto body technician at Gearhart Chevrolet in Denville, NJ. He worked at Gearhart for five years specializing in heavy collision repairs, metalwork and frame repairs. When the opportunity arose for Jess to go into business for himself, he chased it with a full head of steam, ultimately forming Taylored Auto Body & Service in Boonton, NJ.
