Simple and nice restaurant. I had rainbow trout it was ok(i come from a city on coast so i know a good spice from another). Grilled shrimp is awesome with fries and baked potato. Ask for Bruce he is the best.

We ate at Mike’s today and had the best & very reasonably priced lunch. We had an AWESOME waitress by the name of Nikki. I had the salt & pepper shrimp & Alaskan White fish. My husband got his grilled and my mother got fried shrimp and undoubtedly the best ALLCRABMEAT crab cake we have ever tasted. We all even loved the hush puppies. Highly recommend this place.

While I ordered no seafood, I enjoyed a nice meal via Boone take out delivery service due to the extreme cold weather. I had the 6oz sirloin, baked potato and green salad with a side of fried pickles. The steak arrived cooked to a perfect medium as ordered with lots of butter and sour cream for the potato and steak sauce. The whole meal was very satisfying and the steak was tender enough to cut with the provided plastic cutlery and flavorful. What keeps me from giving 5 stars though was the fried pickles. It was a very thick batter which overwhelmed any pickle flavor they may have had. I prefer lighter coating where the pickle is the star. I would return for a sit down or take out meal.

Good and friendly service. We had a party of 15 and they took care of us with no problem. The food was pretty good. Loved the hushpuppies and the onion rings. Overall not bad seafood. Certainly not fresh, but not bad. Would eat here again.

Ate here on the recommendation of a local motel, and so glad we did. Best oyster dinner I have ever had, seriously. The oysters were large and succulent, cooked to perfection! Had the small oyster dinner and couldn’t possibly have eaten more. The baked potato was huge, and I even liked the hush puppies, which I normally don’t eat. Will definitely stop here again on our next trip to the mountains. Felt the dinner was appropriately priced for the quality and quantity of food — $ 32.56 for 2 dinners, including tax.

If you’re looking for good seafood, or just a decent dining experience, then this is not the place to you. The food is vastly overpriced and not very good. If you’re going to pay seafood prices, you should expect to get passable seafood. This was not the case at Mikes, where plates can easily cost $ 20 or more and consist of surprisingly small portions of deep fried lumps. I had the crab cakes, and they reminded me of the ones you would find at Long John Silver’s. Despite the cost of the meal($ 17), my dish consisted of just four deep-fried pieces of poorly-seasoned bread(with a tiny bit of crab somewhere in them) and a slice of lemon. That’s it. My dining partner ordered teriyaki scallops, and instead got rubbery, deep fried scallops. The service was almost as bad. Despite having ample seating near the center of the room, we were seated beside a wall made entirely of glass that at one point in it’s life used to be a large door. They were taped shut, but it wasn’t enough to keep the ice cold air(it was in the high 20s outside) from making our dinner an unpleasantly cold one. We had to wait an extra 20 minutes in the cold for the waitress to bring us our check. She apologized, claiming she was kept busy, even though there was only a half-dozen other tables seated and two other waitresses. Talking it over in the car we both agreed that neither of us has been to such a poor excuse for a «seafood» restaurant.

Only ate here a few times as it is upper priced but if you can afford it — the food is well worth it. I can say the times i have ate here the food was great as well as the service.
