Our business was started out buy our first owner in her garage selling to her friends. Blackberry Creek quickly started to grow and she had to move to a larger building. She continued to sale mattresses until our current owner took over in 2007. We have continued to grow until we have become the largest dealer of mattresses in the High Country.

We have been locally owned and operated since 2001. I took over the business from the first owner in February of 2007. I retired from Boeing thinking that I was going to fill my days with playing golf and enjoying life outside of the «working world.» I found out

very quickly that was not the life for me. I wanted to do something important, something where I could give back to people. I had always wanted to have my own business, so I began to look into businesses where I could help people improve their lives. I met the previous owner of Blackberry Creek, fell in love with the mattress industry, and the

rest is history. My main goal as the owner of Blackberry Creek and the one thing that I instill into all of my employees is that whatever mattress we sell, no matter what the

price range, I want every customer to «Rest Well Live Better.» It is my mission in life and ultimately the mission of Blackberry Creek.
