ArtWalk has over 9,000 square feet of beautiful handcrafted gifts and art located in the heart of historic downtown Boone, NC. Meander through our three floors to find that one of a kind gift or a personal item to take home as a keepsake of the Blue Ridge Mountains. Full of pottery, photography, jewelry, metal, wood and glass works, repurposed furniture and much more, you’re sure to find the perfect piece at ArtWalk. Open 7 days a week, we are located at 611 W. King Street, Boone, NC.

History

Established in 2005.

Established by Rich and Leigh Jacobs, the 1922 building that houses ArtWalk, was completely renovated, leaving original elements, while adding a modern flare with the wall of windows in the front of the building. We felt it was the perfect space to showcase the talent of artist throughout the High Country and beyond. We have rehabbed other old buildings and were happy to bring this building back to it former glory. It’s worth just stopping by to get a great feel from this old masterpiece.

Business Owner

Leigh, a frustrated artist herself, loves being a part of ArtWalk and viewing all of the fabulous artistic works that come through the door. A fan of saving old things, like the historic building that ArtWalk is in, she likes to repurpose whatever she can get her hands on and bring it back to life. In addition, she makes creative jewelry that you will see throughout the store, as well as an elegant line of leather journals, to name a few. She likes to make sure that there is something for everyone that walks into the store.
