Food didn’t have a good flavor. I know my Mexican food. But this isn’t a place I’m ever going back to.

Awesome food! I asked our waitress for the spiciest item on the menu and it definitely was that. I had the shrimp molcajete (I think). It was delicious! I had mango-​chamoy margaritas with tajin on the rim… also delicious. Great place!

I’m a native San Diegan and picky about my Mexican food. This place is one of my favorites. The regular menu is great with traditional and creative dishes. I also love trying the specials. Never disappointed.

If you have a group of 6+ it’ll probably be best for you to call ahead. We had a party of 7 people and sat in the patio. The tortilla soup is so good! I loved all of the veggies and rice in it! Everything we ordered was delicious and I’d definitely eat here again! Try their taco salad too! Other places use these huge tortillas in a mountain of shredded iceberg lettuce with barely any meat but not here, their ratio is perfect!

The food here is delicious and the environment is great to be in. Manny is super friendly and definitely makes you feel welcomed into his restaurant. I especially love the chips and salsa.

Tekila has the BEST Mole Chicken I have ever had. I don’t usually eat too much rice and beans (although theirs is very good), and they substituted salad and veggies for me. Both are outstanding. They have a creamy cilantro dressing for the salad, and the veggies are still a little crunchy, which is perfect. I rarely eat anything else there (other than the chips and salsa, of course), because I always want to order the mole! Other people that I go with order a variety of dishes when we go, and have enjoyed every one of them. The prices are also reasonable.

Great food and service! This is my to go spot for margarita and Mexican food now. I had the tomatillo soup today and it was soooooo good!!! Too bad they are not gonna make it anymore coz the chef who makes it is going back home.

This has been the only Mexican restaurant that I found to always be consistent and the food excellent. Everything I have had to eat here has been truly delicious. I can’t find one complaint. And I’ll keep going back! Margaritas, chips, salsa, beans, rice, tortilla soup, flautas, barbacoa, Monster burrito, Manny’s birthday tacos… I try something different overtime and its always good!

My friend and I came here to have a «working dinner» while getting ready for a baby shower we were throwing together.
We weren’t too hungry, so we ended up sharing (crap tons of) chips & salsa, shrimp cocktail, and also guacamole.
I have to say, that the salsa here is Amazing. its SO good. The shrimp cocktail was great also, I added a little hot sauce and it was completely perfect. I do have to say though, that I wish we got more with the order of Guac. It was on the smaller side for what it cost compared to other sit down mexican in the area.
Our bill after tip was about $ 30 so it was very comparable to other sit down mexican in the area.
I will definitely be back when I am in the Bonsall area again.

Prompt drinks and food — she confirmed the tequila used in our margaritas which i find is a rarity at mexican restaurants. Food was better than the average place. She also went out of her way to let us know the specials and favorite dishes.
Colorful murals on the walls mixed with a strange modern feel (including cast iron candle holders and grating below the murals).
Awesome place, highly recommended.

This is my saving grace, new to Bonsall

My wife and I had dinner here last week. We both agreed that it was the best meal we have had in Fallbrook to date. Now I realize this restaurant is in Bonsall, but I’m going to group it with Fallbrook and possibly San Diego county in its entirety. We had one of the best shrimp special, the shrimp was served in a cheese sauce and was perfect. To follow we had the prime rib, ribs. The meat was fall off the bone and was absolutely delicious. The mixed grill and sides were out of this world tasty. The service and I don’t say this often, it was impeccable. Our server was incredibly well trained and proficient in all of the steps of service. The bus staff is one of the best I’ve seen. I own a restaurant and after seeing the bus crew in action I had to go back to my restaurant to share the experience with my bus staff, to see if we can take away something from what I observed.
Are you still sitting there reading my review. What are you doing, don’t waste any more time. This is my new favorite Mexican restaurant. The food is as authentic as it gets, service and ambiance, this place has it all. Try it, you will not be sorry. I can’t wait to go back myself.

This is a nice spot for pretty good Mexican food so if you like outdoor seating, tasty food and big portions this is the place for you. You can sit on their front patio or on the back one and both have heaters. The service is pretty good even when it gets busy so expect to wait a little bit. I don’t come here that often because the food is a little pricey but still tasty. They also have a small little bar to chill and have a few drinks.

Wow! I love this place as usual. Service was amazing Kendall did an excellent job. Thank you guys for your stellar performance. I haven’t even got to the food. It’s so good we left not even one scrap on the plate! We had fried stuffed salmon! It was amazing! Highly recommended to everyone.

My husband and I dine here frequently. The owner always around helping with orders drinks means etc. there is always a special and always amazing. It’s a nice place to have a date. The ingredients Manny uses in his specials are phenomenal. His staff is always friendly and actually check on you after you receive you meal. Never disappointed

This place is awesome, good prices, good portions and great customer service. I had the salmon salad nice slab of salmon mmmmm. Seasoned perfectly. They have a bar if your alone outside areas in front and back and of course a inside area to relax. The music plays lightly. They have one tv at the bar. Ooo and half hour is from 3pm — 5pm and then 8pm to close fun fun fun

What a treat! Found this place on Unilocal and it totally lived up to the hype. Great chips & salsa, great service, great ceviche and they really know their way around pork dishes. We will definitely by back, a great find!

We moved to Bonsall a little over a year ago and after a long day of moving my wife and I stopped in for dinner. Since then we make a habit of getting to Tekila’s at least once a month with the whole family.
First Manny is great! He greets us like we are old friends and I have never been disappointed with his specials. The food is authentic and tasty and best of all it does not break the bank. I usually get the carnitas plate, but Manny will often talk me into one of his specials! We have 4 kids and we can have a nice meal and everyone is happy for less then any chain restaurant. Great casual place for a good meal and nice enough to take your wife out on date.
