My fiancé and I knew we didn’t want a traditional wedding cake at our reception; in fact, we wanted several kinds of desserts, cuz we’re not traditional, and we both love variety. We found Jaime’s website, and set up a tasting with her of 4 or 5 different cakes, with different icings. We chose 3 cakes, and then talked to Jaime about other ideas we had, involving mini crème brulee’s, and mini lemon curd desserts, that we wanted her to serve in some engraved shot glasses that we provided. Jaime was so easy to work with, and really helped us to come to some dessert choices that we both loved. She made our day so much easier, too, by dropping everything off at the venue, and even came back that evening to collect her cake stands, and we didn’t have to think about any of it, because she followed through exactly as she promised. Of course, the best thing of all is that everything was delicious! Everyone says that you never get to eat at your own wedding, and that was mostly true for us, though we did get a chance to try the cakes, and really loved them. especially the chocolate cake with grand marnier icing! We didn’t get to try the crème brulee or the lemon curd, but our guests raved about them, so we were happy! We really enjoyed our experience with Jamie’s Rose Flour Factory… she made it low-stress and easy, and her prices were reasonable, which was so refreshing after checking out some other options. weddings are some kind of crazy expensive racket, but Jaime was fair, efficient, and came through beautifully for us in every way.

My husband and I visited several bakeries for wedding cake tastings. Jaime offered cake that was both delicious and affordable! She even offered to create a complimentary top tier for our one year anniversary — a MUCH better alternative to freezing the top tier and eating stale cake one year later. Jaime was very attentive as we explained our dream cake’s design. We were able to choose fondant vs. butter cream frosting, which we didn’t think would be in our budget before we visited the Rose Flour Factory. I had a fun idea for a cake topper, which required buying a mold for white chocolate. Jaime ordered it herself and didn’t charge us for it! Every guest that we spoke to raved about how good the cake was, and we all had some despite being full after appetizers/dinner. Whenever we have special occasions in the future, we will definitely be calling Jaime at the Rose Flour Factory… and you should, too!

Whew, we were all pretty full by the end of the wedding night(and everyone was dancing), so not many people ate the cake. It seemed pretty good though — a lot of guests complimented it. Ms. Rose matched my description of the cake very well so I appreciated that! :) 4 stars now because communicating with her was a bit tough, but I think part of that was because of the holidays. I would still highly suggest her as a wedding vendor though — her cakes are reasonably priced for the quality she provides them at. Just schedule a tasting with her and you’ll see what I mean :)
