Sanctuary RV Resort

Great campground! Very nice people who work there and camp there!
Clean and well maintained!

The sites are on level gravel with cement patios. Most are nice; some less so. WIFI is if-​y and we had no cable. We had reserved — and paid for — a pull-​thru site but when we arrived, we were assigned a back-​in (with no pull-thru’s available). Streets are very narrow. We have a large 5^th wheel. It was only by the goodness of neighbors who moved their cars that we were able to get into the assigned spot. On the plus side, it was quiet. The pool looked nice and a number of people were using it. The resort is too expensive to have some of the not-​so-​good sites, such as the one we were assigned. Doubt if we would stay here again.

We’re staying three months this season at the Sanctuary RV Resort. It is quite pleasant with very little noise, being far enough away from the Interstate highway, but close enough for convenience.
The Bonita Springs area has lots to offer in the way of activities, with shopping and restaurants nearby. Museums and parks too. Of course the beaches are always a big attraction. A short drive will take you to Ft. Meyers or Naples, both of which have lots to offer.
The Sanctuary staff works hard to make our stay enjoyable. The park is clean and work is ongoing to make the landscaping and other amenities even better.
The café on premises is a very nice touch and the food is great. Hats off to the chef and staff. In addition to dine in service, (indoor or out), they offer complete take-​out meals, cooking lessons and holiday parties. Beer & wine are available. Hours are limited to breakfast and lunch daily 8 AM — 3 PM.
An elegant small gift shop is open daily with local wildlife photos and many Florida themed gifts.
A brand-​new small dog play area was just completed, with a fence and poop bag dispenser. Large dogs also enjoy a play area but it’s not completely fenced in yet. They plan to have it done in the future.
The staff are very friendly and helpful. The buildings are very attractive too. There are several bath houses, a pool and laundry building as well. The laundry facility offers unlimited washing with purchase of a pass, something we haven’t seen at other RV resorts.
Our only complaint has been the intermittent availability of the WiFi signal. This is an issue they have been working on and no doubt will be corrected, based on their past performance. (it’s not a big deal for us, just a minor inconvenience).
We plan to come here again next year!

We had a great visit there last March and have reservations for three months this coming winter. They are still making improvements to the place so am waiting for completion before giving them five stars. Great location, great people and a sensational laundry area.

Great RV park. Wonderful staff. Pet friendly. Free Wifi, laundry, and basic cable. Wonderful pool.
