Fred Astaire Dance Studios have been teaching individuals and couples of all ages to dance for the past 68 years. We specialize in teaching ballroom, latin, social, and wedding dance including Cha Cha, Bolero, Swing, Mambo, Paso Doble, Waltz, Tango, Fox Trot, Quick Step, Viennese Waltz, Merengue, Salsa, Rumba, and Samba. Students learn through a variety of instructional programs with private lessons for singles and couples, groups classes, and practice parties with a focus on three-​way dance instruction. This personalized approach allows us to create a tailor-​made program just for you, and our welcoming studio environment makes our facility the perfect place to hone your skill, no matter what level you are currently at. History

Established in 2014.

Today, one almost can’t turn on the TV or radio or, open a newspaper, magazine, or web page without hearing a mention of Mr. Fred Astaire in reference to dancing. He has left a lasting impact on the world and when people think of a dancing legend, Fred Astaire is the first to come to mind. We are proud of our great dance heritage which began in 1947 when the Master of dance himself, Mr. Fred Astaire, co-​founded our company.

Mr. Fred Astaire, considered to be the greatest multitalented dancer of all time, wanted to establish a chain of studios under his name to make sure that his techniques would be preserved and passed onto the public. Mr. Astaire was instrumental in the choice of dance curriculum and instructional techniques. With the opening of the first Fred Astaire Studio on Park Avenue in New York City, Fred Astaire brought his immense talent out of the glamour of Hollywood and onto the dance floors of America and the world.

Meet the Business Owner

Yuriy and Oleksandra D.

Business Owner

Yuriy and Oleksandra Datsyk are a world renowned professional dance couple and dance educators. They have more than 30 years of professional dance experience and retain the titles of former Ukrainian National Professional Grand Finalists and Champions in International Latin, Standard and 10 dance divisions.

They have traveled extensively across Europe, competing successfully. Dedicated educators, they were both on the Ballroom Dance faculty at the Institute of Choreography in their hometown of L’viv, Ukraine.

Yuriy and Oleksandra joined Fred Astaire Dance Studios in 1999, and for the past 11 years, they have been running a successful New York Midtown Fred Astaire Dance Studio.

The Fred Astaire Dance Studio of Bonita Springs, is their new and exciting project. It will breathe new life into the Ballroom, Latin and social dance scene of Southwest Florida. Their professional demeanor and impeccable taste have made them some of the most respected teachers and coaches in the industry.
