Log Splitters Direct was first conceived by Jon Hoch, the company’s founder, after an awful experience shopping for power equipment.
Meet the Business Owner
Jon H.
Business Owner
Jon is an alumnus of The University of Alabama where he received a Bachelor’s degree in Public Relations and Master’s degree in Integrated Marketing Communication.
He worked for several years doing PR at both GolinHarris and Coleman Powermate.
After a particularly bad experience buying a lawn mower, Hoch decided to start Power Equipment Direct, an easier way to shop for power equipment online.
What began as one store, quickly branched into 10 niche web-stores that operate today under the umbrella company, Power Equipment Direct.
