This is the most unprofessional, rude and disrespectful office I have ever encountered in my life.
I went in on January 14, 2016 for a «free» dental implant consultation. Dr. Azalea and her staff did X-​rays where they literally did for an hour pushing probes deep in my gums. She then said they would send over for a pre approval for my insurance and to follow up on Friday February 19^th. She then said when you come back we’ll do a cleaning on you. I hadn’t had one done in a year and I knew it was preventative and my insurance covered in 100% so I had no issue with it.
During that time of my consultation and my follow up appointment I received an explanation of benefits to my insurance that Dr. Azalea’s office billed them for my «free consultation». When I asked them about it they replied, oh it’s free to you. What?!
When I came to the office on ²⁄₁₉ the doctor sat me down and asked if I wanted something to numb my mouth for my cleaning. I said, for a cleaning? I’ve never heard of such. She says it’s a deep cleaning. Come to find out it’s an additional $ 600. What a scam.
I asked them if they could remove me from their patient list and the doctor starts crying and said that’s not a problem. She was all over the place. I have never, ever experienced such craziness.
This office gets a –5. Hands down. Terrible.

I ended up here because of my employer dental insurance. I should’ve read the other reviews before making the appointment. They were very hard to contact, to even make an appointment. At the time of the appt. I gave them information for the the previous dentist, to get records and x-​rays. I arrived for my 10am appointment to find the doors locked. At 10 am someone came to the door peeked out, saw me sitting in my car, and unlocked the door. Once inside the waiting area is very nice. I gave the receptionist my information, gave her again the information for my previous dentist. Explained again I’d had x-​rays taken 9 months ago and the insurance would not allow films before May 2016. «That’s ok and fill out these forms» Filled out the standard forms, and got my first «Up sell» $ 65 for a special light exam for oral cancer, not covered by my insurance. Refused that. Now into the chair for the exam and dental cleaning. Explained to hygienist I had films taken in March/​April 2015 and insurance won’t pay for another set this soon. Just need my routine cleaning, and next time they can do films. Dentist refused to see me without taking x-​rays, and they don’t have email. I explained this is just a routine cleaning, not having any problems. If this was an issue the person making my appointment should have told me to bring the x-​rays to the appointment, the receptionist could’ve said something before even having me fill out forms. I wasn’t going to pay out of pocket for films again, and I’m not waiting 8 weeks to get another appointment there. I’ll go elsewhere.

If I could give zero stars I would. My mother-in-law’s insurance shows Dr. Azalea as a provider. My MIL is 72 years old and needs a dentist close by. After days of repeated calls at different times of the day (nobody answers the phone) and 2 messages left unreturned we both agreed this dentist wasn’t even worth it. They can’t even answer their phone much less get a new patient. I logged into Unilocal to check them out and I’m glad she never got a call back. Sounds like that’s not their only problem.

This is by far the WORST dental office I have been too. It is an absolute nightmare. The staff is completely clueless and rude along with the dentist. They are open only by appointment, but good luck trying to make an appointment. They never answer their phone and NEVER return phone calls. Every time I spoke with someone they would tell me to call back because the person that scheduled their appointments had gone home for the day and this happened each and every time I called to make an appointment. That doesn’t even make sense? Shouldn’t their entire staff be trained on how to book an appointment?
The day I finally scheduled my appointment I arrived early to make sure I had enough time to fill in and forms as a new patient and the door was locked! My appointment was at 10 a.m. and the door was opened exactly at that time. After that I sat in the waiting room even though I was the only patient there for almost 40 minutes, Dr. Azalea finally came in and talked to me for about 5 minutes and someone else did my cleaning. I am really not even sure how this place stays open.

I called this place 8 times to make an appointment. 4 of the 8 times, I spoke with staff and the other 4 times I left messages that were never returned. Each time I spoke with the staff, they would tell me to call back to make an appointment — either because the appointment scheduler had gone home (1 pm on a Monday) or because the office didn’t have their insurance list. I kept trying to get an appointment because they are my HMO dental provider but their customer service is so egregious I have decided to switch to another provider who is 3 times as far from my home. I do not recommend that any new patients call this dentist for an appointment.

This place is a scam! I have never written a review on Unilocal before but this place made me so angry that I actually signed up. First of all, it was an hour before I actually saw the dentist (Suzy Azalea). Then, she tried to make me do an «advanced cleaning» which was not covered by my insurance and refused to give me a standard cleaning which was covered by my insurance. I had seen a dentist about 8 months ago so I seriously doubt this procedure was necessary. As I was waiting for that hour, I heard her offer the same advanced cleaning to the patient in the room next to me. When I said that I did not want the advanced cleaning she was rude and very quick to push me out the door, telling me I should get a second opinion. She tried to rush me out before I could even check in with the receptionist to make sure the paperwork was in order for the visit. Extremely unprofessional and no way to run a business. Good luck keeping customers with that horrible attitude Suzy!
