I was disappointed with this location hobby lobby, the isles where messy like no one walks through and fixes things when people mess them up. They also didn’t have a very good selection of anything for that matter. Normally I love this place, I’m a very crafty DYI person so I come here because prices are fair and normally there’s a lot to choose from so I was surprised when I went there this time. Also during check out the workers talk and discuss private matters that guest don’t need to hear when paying. And we also don’t want to here how much you hate your job while we’re paying, just seems common sense to me that you acknowledge the person in front of you and not talk like No one is in front of you, ask me if I found everything okay, tell me about any deals you have going on, make small talk. No one choose your job so do what ur getting paid to do and quit complaining in front of customers. Little changes like that can make a sad inventory seem not that big of an issue.

Love this store! Staff is very helpful! I needed more of an item than what they had in stock so they ordered more and called me when it came in. Prices are good, Store is clean!

I hate this store. Just waited in line for 15 minutes with two things. The customer in front of me had a tax exempt letter which, at Hobby Lobby, requires you to sign away your first born. And the cashier who was available simply announced she was open. Not«would the next in line step over.» So everyone hovering near check out rushed over. It’s too too bad that Michael’s and JoAnn Fabrics both closed down the street. Hobby Lobby was always my third choice and unfortunately now the only choice.

I came for ornaments. Pink and purple, small globe ornaments. I left with those ornaments and for 50% off. SUCCESS! I previously visited the Aurora store, which had every other color of the rainbow except pink or purple. And of course it was essential to the execution of the mini Christmas tree for my desk, which was to be decorated in rainbow-colored ornaments. No pink and purple would have meant that my Pinterest endeavor had failed. There were plenty of registers open, and I didn’t have to wait in line for long. The store is clean and organized, and the layout is easy to navigate. There weren’t many employees working on the sales floor, but this didn’t bother me since I knew exactly what I needed and where to find it. Good job, Bolingbrook!

Great customer service. Everyone is always happy to help you when needed. I use I LOVETHISYARN By Hobby Lobby. Beautiful soft yarn for the price and I get lots of compliments with my crochet work. I am glad that this company is closed on Sundays and Holidays for their workers can be home with family !

I love this store. I only wish it was open on Sundays. It would be more convenient to close on a Monday(for example) and open on Sundays instead. I bet they would have more business on a day people have a chance to go out.

Every once in a while I get inspired to get creative, and this store will inspire that creativity. I find that if I go early in the morning, I have better luck getting needed help and finding things in some type of order. Today I had the misfortune to get behind a woman who was returning 214 pieces of white poster board. It had to be counted and as the line grew, the cashier did call for assistance. I really wanted to ask this woman what she needed over 200 pieces of poster board for, but not my business. Surprisingly, not only do they carry crafty items, but they also sell bookcases, tables, chairs, lamps, and today they had a huge display of picture frames, at 50% off I might add. I just happen to have been sent 2 family photos yesterday, and found just the right frames for them ~ score. They open at 9, which is also a big plus in my book, I’m a morning person. Returns within 60 days with your receipt are not a hassle, just in case you cannot complete that project.

Have you ever gone to a store and wondered why every time you walk in checking out takes about 45 minutes? That pretty much sums up every experience I have ever had with this store. There could be 6 employees standing up at the front and you would still have to wait because chances are, only one is actually working a register. I do like it here. They have a decent selection of fairly overpriced fabric and a large assortment of crafting supplies. There is always a large ammount of seasonal and holiday items that are somehow always on sale. One big plus is also the large home décor department. If you need a basket, picture or giant wall clock, they have it. The big draw is that they probably have everything you need in one place, but you definitely pay more than if you bargain shopped to Joanns and Meijer. The lines are horrendous too. My thinking about those lines right now brings up feelings of anger. At least all of the employees are nice.

Yes, the store is huge. Yes, if you are a crafter, this place is probably your version of porn. But, if you are an average gal like me, you may find this place to be massively off-putting and intimidating. Twice, I came in for what I thought were to be basic items. Once for a zipper pull; they only sell the whole zipper. Second time, I came in for colored chime candles. Out of five aisles of candles of all colors, shapes, scents, and sizes, they only had a few lonely boxes of white chime candles. I came in one more time for some red ink and new Calligraphy nubs. Oddly, the ink and the nubs are three aisles away from each other, and I had to hunt down an employee to help me out. None of the aisles are marked, nor are there definitive borders to the sections of the store. I will admit, that the employees are completely fabulous here, and will hand march you right to the items you need. Unfortunately, they are far and few between . I really don’t come in here armed with the weekly sales ad; and it looks like they aren’t big into marking the sale items. I was happy to find out that my ink was 20% percent off that week! I guess it’s a crap-shoot when you get to the register.

How can you not roll around drooling when you’re in a Hobby Lobby if you’re a crafter? Okay, I guess it’s kind of easy to resist… I love Hobby Lobby and this is one of my go-to locations. I just like the layout and I feel it has a nicer feel than others. This location is near my parents house so it was my go-to source for my crafty needs all through high school and continues to be to this day(when I’m in town of course). For whatever reason, I feel like the yarn selection should be located on the opposite side of the store, but that’s an odd personal preference… Hobby Lobby always has pretty good sales going on and the place is huge. You can likely find something to do, even if you go in there with no real intentions of creating a specific craft. You can definitely throw around some cash in this location because they have a huge section of adorable home goods. I cannot remember if all of them are like that… but this should have what you need.

Not a fan of this Hobby Lob. This location is a lot messier than other locations and parts of the building seem abandoned. Like, maybe they need more staff or a fresh paint job. Their selection is limited and I found that many times when something I’m doing requires 2 of a supply, I’ll be sh*t outta luck because they only stock one at a time in the same color. It’s a shame because the store is huge and they have their own parking lot so parking is a cinch but it just doesn’t cut it. Also, the in-store religious stuff is creepy.

I LOVE this store!!! They are a bit more pricey for almost everything scrap booking related, but that evens out when you swap price tags on expensive things for tags off of cheap items — since they don’t use scanners there and type everything into the register by hand. :) If you know what a fair price is for supplies, then you’ll know when they’re trying to bend you over for an item and — voila! — it magically becomes cheaper with the flick of a sticky tag. :p
