Business Owner

Alyssia Benford is a co-​founding partner of Benford Brown & Associates, LLC. Alyssia has devoted a substantial portion of her career to working with small to medium sized businesses. She enjoys working with clients, placing an emphasis on creating sound bookkeeping systems, preparation of financial statements, income tax planning and preparation and tax problem resolution. Alyssia’s greatest professional achievement is the rapport she has established and maintained with her business clients during the firm’s fifteen year history. They depend on her and she thrives on exceeding their expectations.

Alyssia has worked as a senior auditor at Deloitte & Touché LLP. and in various audit and management positions at Motorola, Inc. While employed at Motorola, Inc. she audited Motorola internal controls as well as implemented policies and procedures for Motorola’s operations.

Alyssia is currently pursuing a Master’s in Governmental Accounting from Rutgers University. Alyssia earned her
