History

Established in 2011.

Founded by Jon and Zach Ball, Page One Power sought to learn and master the hardest part of SEO: Link Building. Through hands on trial and error the Ball brothers built Page One Power from a two man operation, to a successful 100 employee company!

Page One Power has kept to its roots as a relevancy first link building firm and our methods only employ the highest-​quality white hat practices that are proven to benefit the clients in the long run.

Jon was originally trained as a fine portrait photographer at Brooks Institute of Photography in Santa Barbara, California. His business sense and marketing prowess propelled his portrait studio to be the most prestigious, successful studio in the state of Idaho for many years. His desire to learn online marketing led him to research SEO.

I have been with Page One Power for 3 months now. I loved working with their staff from day one. The Project Managers were very helpful and knowledgeable. They have helped me significantly. The training they gave me, constant contact, transparency, reporting, and professionalism was great for us.
I have read these negative reviews on here and understand that not 100% of clients can be satisfied. It depends on the industry, my product, my services, my ability to convert the organic growth.
I knew it was a risk but any type of marketing is. Especially taking someone that is relatively new to online marketing or are in a very competitive industry. But I appreciate their hard work, honesty, and outreach that they have actually showed me from the very beginning. It gets better each month.
Just do it… or do nothing or maybe just on your own when you have time.

I started working with Page One Power back in 2012 after meeting the owners at an Expo in NYC. The initial project was a social media test that we came up with while discussing some exotic strategies. After the project ended I was so impressed by their organization that I continued the relationship by having them building links for several of our B2C websites. I worked with them to develop 3 specific link-​building strategies and they implemented them for our sites. The results have been great! On occasion I’ve actually had to ask them to slow down building links to avoid running afoul of the search engines (specifically G).
I’ve always found the team to be both responsive and quick do whatever it takes to make a campaign successful. I’ve worked with many SEO agencies over the years but Page One Power has been the most professional and easy to deal with by far.

Don’t do it. This is a shady company and they will actually end up doing more harm to your business than good. We specifically asked them NOT to provide links on spammy websites and directories, but not only did they do that, they bragged about it as part of their «quota» of links for the month. Rather than attempt to remedy the situation, the company instead continues to send us threatening emails. This shows a complete lack of value-​based leadership.
Do your research before contracting with this company. There are reviews all over the web about this company’s lack of business ethics. Also, have a look at the reviews from employees that have worked there. We are working on filing suit for the damage they have caused our business. If anyone reading this is interested in joining the suit, please contact me.

This company has completely changed my local business (event production in San Diego) for the better. The traffic they were able to generate for me on my behalf has been life altering to say the least.
