I continue to sing the praises of this locally owned Boise company. I recently attended a cooking class conducted by company owner Scott Tharp and his love and excitement for cooking was contagious.
He was personable and although he doesn’t have professional training as a chef, his self-​taught skills are evident. And I imagine his avoidance of formal recipes and love of tinkering helped him in developing his sauces.
I tried one of his seasoning spice mixtures, heavy on the pepper and also including lemon and orange peel, onion, garlic and coffee. It’s very tasty, as well.

Hands down, the best BBQ sauce I’ve ever had! I covered some baby back ribs with the medium spicy BBQ sauce and almost jizzed in my pants. The MFT ketchup is pretty amazing too. It’s different than traditional ketchup in that it’s much thicker and has more flavor as well as a little spicy-​ness.
