I have blonde highlights with ash lowlights but after some bad experiences here, I no longer have that correct color. I’ve gone to 4 other stylists in downtown Boise trying to get my blonde hair back to where it was when I first moved here in Feb. The first stylist didn’t cover my roots at all, the next one turned it yellowish with gold striped highlights when I specifically said no gold, no yellow. I then went for color correction and that person made the sides slightly better, did cover my roots, but left the gold stripes down the back! 4^th stylist kept me in the chair for 4 HOURS & my hair barely touches my shoulders… I left that salon in tears with all over ash without a blonde highlight to be found. Another Unilocaler sent me a message about Lyndsay’s beautiful blonde pics on Unilocal & I’m so grateful! I called her in tears and she got me in the next day. I knew I had found the right person upon meeting her. She reassured me she knew just what to do & explained in detail exactly how she would do it. BEST styling I have ever had. The blonde highlights are just the perfect tone, no more yellow, no dull all over ash, just a bright lovely blonde! The salon has a very organic feel. Quiet and peaceful. The shampoo bowls are ergonomicly designed with a pillow for your lower back and a foot stool for your feet! No more stress on your neck & shoulders. Lindsay has such a kind sweet way about her and she’s extremely professional! My hair looks and feels the best it ever has and I had back to back processing! I’ve definitely learned that the products stylists use to color your hair make a huge difference. Prices are in line with other salons in downtown Boise. Check out all her pics posted on Unilocal & give her a try especially if your wanting some version of blonde. She has mastered all shades to perfection! After 7 mths and lots of wasted $$$ Lindsay and M SPA are my new home! Plus they offer massage services next door!:) I couldn’t be more pleased!

I discovered this place by following my amazing stylist from another salon. Won’t mention the name of the other salon but it was nothing like M Spa! I took a chance on Lindsay Hampton with my hair, mind you she is only the 3^rd stylist in my 31 years of life to ever touch my hair haha! If you want someone who is experienced, patient, flexible, passionate and pays attention to detail I would highly recommend Lindsay. She listens to what you want and is great about making sure she’s meeting her client’s requests. I went from blonde, to red, back to blonde in about 7 months and my am still loving my look, as my hair is not damaged or over done.
The salon itself is amazing also. Very welcoming and all the ladies I’ve had interactions with are warm and friendly. It’s cozy and inviting, with a very peaceful atmosphere.

I’m shocked there aren’t more reviews for this place because I know their business is doing good!
I recently came to M Spa to get my hair done after moving to Boise. I absolutely LOVE the finished product. Highlights are definitely a thing of the past, it’s all about balayage (sp?). Definitely recommend M Spa for all your hair needs.
In addition to the awesome hair, this place is literally a one stop shop. I’m going in this Friday for a facial. They do massages and spray tans as well. Something tells me I’ll be here a lot since it’s right down the street from me!

I recently made the move from Southern California to Boise, Idaho and found myself on the search for my new, perfect hair stylist. What first caught my eye about M Spa is a handful of it’s stylists use «davines» hair products, which is what my past stylist used in California. If you haven’t heard of «davines,» I urge you to check it out!
I booked an appointment with the lovely, Michelle Vinelli for a color and trim. When I arrived to M Spa, I walked into a beautiful, chic, modern and even earthy salon (overall amazing atmosphere) and was welcomed with complimentary goodies including a small selection of beer, red or white wine and, of course, water.
Michelle paid close attention to detail and remained engaged, yet professional, with me during the appointment. I believe it is Michelle’s personal mission to ensure her client leaves completely satisfied and in love with their hair because she did just that for me. I could not help but give her a hug at the end! The price is a little more than what I am used to, but definitely not outrageous either. I will definitely be going back because it is worth every, single penny!
