He took our deposit, then never made the web site. I would stay away from him. Hope you see this before you give him a deposit

Scam artist. Out $ 1500 without nothing to show for it. DON’T USE THIS GUY!

Not answering calls. Not delivering on time. I am out $ 1050 and nothing was delivered. Wish I would have been able to check this first. Hoping to find others here to sue with to get our money back.

Just took Jonathon Clarke to small claims on 6÷19÷2015 for failure to deliver a promised website. Two words people «STAY AWAY». This guy is a complete scammer and liar even to the Judge! He will push for your 50% deposit and do nothing. No work was ever shown to me.
Then he will stand behind his contract which states the 50% deposit is non-​refundable.
He is a criminal. He contacted me through a ad I was running on craigslist. I urge more people to come forward so this guy is exposed for what he is.
He took my deposit or should I say «stole» my deposit for $ 1,250.00. There is going to be payback Jonathon… just wait.

This guys is a complete scam artist. I’m not convinced that the above is either his name or his address. However, i will say that anyone who is contacted by him for work should be very cautious. While I didn’t pay nearly as much as Nick did, I will say that I paid a deposit and the first two installments. Jonathon always had a reason for pushing our reviews, was over 10 weeks behind on the project and only stopped making contact with me when I called him out on the holes in all of his ‘stories’. At one point he attempted to make push me aside to a made up assistant (who he claimed was suddenly taking over his scheduling). When I asked for a refund he all the sudden was available to schedule something. But he never called.
From his kids spring break to his servers going out, Jonathon beats around the bush and doesn’t preform. He simply wants your money and is looking for opportunities to do it. Be careful if contracted. I currently have a case open against him with my credit card company and I refuse to go down without a fight.

I first spoke with Jonathon Clarke in January about a redesign for my current website. When I spoke with him about the project, it took him a while to respond or adapt the contract as I had requested. I figured that this is typical of some web developers. Once we signed a contract a $ 750,00 deposit was due up front with a promise of completion in 30 days.
I expected a couple of mock-​ups which are standard when you build a website. I asked about 20 something days in and was told it was completed and that we could review the next day. The next day never arrived. I constantly tried to set meetings and the meeting were constantly broken or cancelled. 45 days after providing logins for my site, pictures and materials I still had not seen anything. I asked for a refund and was ignored.
I pleaded for Jonathan to call me back and sent him many messages and no reply. He always responded, when he did with one word answers and one liners about how busy he was. I had just about given up.
I tried calling Jonathan from a different number and he answered right away and then hung up. I file a report with the local Better Business Bureau in Boise, ID and never heard anything from Johnathan.
After he received the BBB inquiry, he sent me a «mockup» that was just a template with random pictures inserted. None of my pictures were even in the mockup! He put in his email with the mockup that was a copy of another web site he received my letter.
This guy is a scam artist and should not be trusted at all. If he didn’t have time to do the job, he should not have taken the job. This is the most unprofessional human being I have ever worked with. The best thing I learned after further investigating is that the whois for his website points to a hostel that is no longer in business and a phone number that is disconnected.
All I expected was a refund and an apology, neither of which have been provided.
