Established in 2000.
Master Dan Embree started the Idaho Self-defense Center January of 2000 in East Boise. Master Dan is a 7th Degree Black Belt with over 30 years in the martial arts. February 2010 we moved our studio from Federal Way to a location on Broadway.

Master Dan Embree has been in the martial arts for over 30 years. He holds 4 black belts in different styles. Master Dan has be inducted into the United States Martial Arts Hall of Fame with Humanitarian Award. Also as Master of the Year in the World Karate Union Hall of Fame. Locally Channel 7 news recognized Dan with their 7’s Hero award.
