The following statements are a matter of my personal opinion and should be taken as such and not statements of fact. This is, by miles, one of the two the worst apartments I have ever leased. While the folks in the office are pleasant they don’t have a lot of support from Verity. There are three important things to note if you are considering moving in. 1. After your initial contract is up, I was told it is the policy of Verity is to raise your rent 100% of the time. So, if you know you will be there a year then sign the longer lease. If you decide to go month-to-month it will cost you dearly. 2. The place is a dump. The grounds are dirty and rarely cleaned and the apartments smell of animals. The fixtures are ancient and in need replaced. 3. You won’t likely get your entire deposit back. They will charge you for general cleaning, carpet cleaning and even for unknown«repairs». DOCUMENT and photograph all problems with the apartment, an email it to Verity the day you move in. So, don’t expect more than maybe 35% of your deposit back. Also, fighting with them about it is useless.
