History

Established in 2010.

Curbside Audio Recording Services was started in 2010 by freelance recording and mixnig engineer Michael Hammer in Boise, Idaho. Michael is a 2007 graduate from the Art Institute of Seattle where he obtained his Associate’s degree in Audio Production. Since graduation, Michael has been working as a freelance recording and mixing engineer in the Boise area. In addition to his recording and mixing work, Michael has also worked as a live sound engineer for numerous events around Boise.

Michael’s love for music and sound began in high school while attending the countless number of concerts he attended. Growing up in Boise allowed Michael to enjoy not only the big acts that came into town, but also the great local music scene Boise has to offer. He always knew he wanted to be involved in the growth and development of Boise’s local music scene and through Curbside Audio Recording Services, he has that opportunity.
