Burgerlicious

I recently attended an event that Burgerlicious was a food truck at. Upon ordering our burgers we were told that they had sold out of all of their burger patties and only had sliders left to sell. I got 2 orders of the sliders and garlic fries. While waiting for my food, I noticed the people who ordered in line behind me got their food out first– when it was handed to them, they looked confused– apparently they had not been informed about the burger outtage and were not expecting the sliders they’d received. When they walked away I proceeded to wait for my food. The employee who took my order sees me and then confirms what I had ordered. A moment later a different employee emerges from the truck with my sliders, forgetting the fries. Mid-​way through eating I went back to purchase a soda– a woman in front of me wanted to purchase a water bottle– we both waited a very long time to be helped because all hands were on deck and couldn’t even help with quick drink orders. Was the food good? Sliders were bland, garlic fries were decent but not tasty enough that I would order them again.
Despite bad customer service, mediocre food, and in my opinion what looked like Burgerlicious was not properly prepared to have their truck at this event, EVEN STILL, I feel this was an off experience and I would really love to try them one more time before deciding they can’t deliver good food and service. I was really looking forward to having the «Tried and True» or the «Blues Burger», and I appreciate that the beef they use is locally sourced and grass fed. Until next time, Burgerlicious.

These guys have food trucks down to a science! Fun. Great food. Spot on Service! Thanks for the best burgers and fries in Idaho. Enough said! :)

Aside from the quality of the product including grass fed beef and other local produce, I didn’t think a burger truck could set itself apart from the rest of the burger joints in town. Boy was I wrong! Maybe there’s something to be said for that instant gratification of a sizzling patty melting in your mouth. The event they were at was busy with a long line, but they were fast and super friendly. I could tell they cared that every burger was up to par, since I think it was the owner that came out of the truck to ask everyone if they were satisfied. Since everyone’s mouth was full with big grins and nods, including my own, I’d say that everyone was very pleased. I didn’t try the fries, but next time I’m getting the garlic ones along with my favorite, the Blues Burger. You just can’t beat blue cheese and bacon! I hope I see them at all the food truck events and definitely will keep them in mind for catering.

I was recently visiting family in the Boise area and tried Burgerlicious at a local brewery, can we say awesome! Living in LA, I have had my fair share of burgers and food trucks… these guys were awesome. The burger was great with this amazing sauce… horseradish I think and the garlic fries were to die for! I had an awesome experience as the staff was so friendly and fast. I definitely recommend Burgerlicious and look for to the next time I visit!

Burgerlicious catered a lunch at my work, My burger was one that was listed as spicy, It had no heat, it was also very dry… the fries were pretty good though. Wouldn’t go out of my way to find them…

I was very excited when I saw that Burgerlicious Burger would be coming to where I work during the lunch hour. After looking over their menu on their website my coworker and I decided on the Tried and True and the Pollard burger adding cheese to both of them. Both burgers were listed at $ 5 a piece with cheese and additional $.50. That would put my total for both burgers at $ 11 + tax. Yet I was charged $ 15. Their website also states that each burger comes with sliced tomato, grilled onion and hearts of romaine lettuce. When I received my Tried and True burger without that I was told that that burger didn’t come with the veggies. Why isn’t that specified on the menu? Although the burger was good it’s clouded by my disappointment in their false advertisement.

So good! We are booking him for our wedding. All of his product is locally grown. Also try his unique sauces! The bacon on our burger was thick and juicy!
