History

Established in 1986.

The Boiling Springs Tavern was built in 1832, and has been in continuous operation ever since. Originally built as a Tavern and inn, it now solely operates as a restuarant. Adolphus Busch, who started Anheuser Busch, bought the building in 1902 and owned it until prohibition. We are located on a spring fed lake, that once hosted a day park for a trolley company. The Tavern was also a stop on The Underground Railraod as part of The kauffman Depot. The current owners purchased The Tavern in 1986 and have developed it into the dining destination that it is today.
