Starbucks

Great location on vets highway in Ronkonkoma/​Bohemia across from airport.
Plenty of seating and store is on the large size.
Been here several times and have always been greeted with smiles.
The service was Fast and friendly.
The drink was made perfectly.
Whenever I am in the area I always stop in on this Starbucks.

I’m not one to poo poo a place but when I’m jonesin’ for Starbucks and I get a lackluster attitude and coffee we have a problem.
Recently came in and both Baristas just didn’t seem like they wanted to be there. I look at this as a HUGE no no. Maybe I’m just used to dealing with the employees near my office but these two especially the female was straight up miserable.
Plus due to Anthony’s Coal Fired Pizza being right next door the parking lot is needless to say an abysmal. Not knocking Anthony’s but I would’ve hoped for better parking for these two conglomerates.
Only stand out here that is sticking out in my brain was the cool lounge-​y music feel. I seldom hear the music in Westbury as it’s usually bustling with other patrons.
Will I be back? Maybe. I think next time I’m near here I’ll just slide on over to the Starbucks on Waverly in Patchogue or the one on Main St in Sayville.

Love love double chocolate chip frapps
This location doesn’t follow recipes for this drink and saturates it with mocha syrup. I don’t like it to be sweet. The original recipe makes it just right not to sweet. So if you like a lot of chocolate sauce this location over does it with mocha syrup. The pat hogue location of waverly and 27 makes it just right. I recommend other location.

Clover stores are invading the island, finally! This location in Vets highway is very clean and always well stocked in retail and rtd&e. Staff is very friendly and almost always engages in meaningful conversation. They could use a bit more training as a whole and could benefit from some practice in speeding up their processes, but I wouldn’t hold it against them. Parking is an issue and the store is often cold inside, but the product and the people are great!

Well, I will never go to this starbucks! This morning I was waiting on the line to buy sandwich. The waitress (she thinks she is pretty, with Mickey Mouse headband) was nice to every customer in front of me, she said «morning» and «happy Halloween» to every of them, and she smiled. However, on my turn (am the only Asian in the line), she didn’t say anything and didn’t even look at me. I said «hello morning», and she said nothing, and also no smile at all. But she was then talking to next customer behind me with smile when she took my card to check. This is so discriminated! What a bitch!

I am so happy that they opened a Starbucks within this area. When I started my current job about 3 months ago, I was so upset because there was no Starbucks. At my previous job, there was a Starbucks within 5 – 10 minutes from my location. My co-​workers and I would go like everyday during lunch, after lunch, really whenever (lol). Once I started my new job, I had no where to go. Finally, one opened up and I immediately had to go. I stopped in before work and I have to say the place is nice. The employees are wonderful, they really interact with you and not because they have to, but because they actually enjoy getting to know their customers. I really appreciate that the most. Every time I go, I always end up having a conversation with an employee. Everyone there is simply so joyful.
Its exactly what you’d think a café should be.

I absolutely love love Starbucks and the customer service is usually really exceptional. I don’t know what went wrong at this location. I went in at 12pm on Friday and ordered an iced Caramel Macchiato. The drink I received was unmixed and after I asked the brunette «barista» (she wears glasses and has a serious customer service problem for some reason) why the drink was not mixed she curtly answered «ALL caramel macchiatos come like that» Excuse me? I know how Caramel Macchiatos come! And I ordered it stirred. And even if I didn’t, seeing that I was not happy with my drink she did not offer to fix it and shot back «You should have ordered it upside down in that case». I suggest this location seriously look into training their employees on customer service because rude behavior like that will not win Stabucks any points.

It’s Starbucks. Hard to review except for service, which is great at this location. I’m happy one opened on Vets Hwy. Parking can be a big problem at lunch time. The pizza place really gets busy.
