This company deserves 0 stars! The owner John Cavelea is a scumbag who steals photos and videos from other DJ companies websites, and then passes them off as his own. He also does not pay his staff for events they worked. STAY AWAY from this piece of human trash at all costs. He will ruin your event and steal from you. BUYER BEWARE! His DJ businesses go by several different names! Embrace Simplicity DJs, Super Sweet 16 DJs, Music to your ears entertainment… RUN AWAY FAST!
For those who have been swindled by this con artist… Please message me, we are going to build a case to make sure he does not harm anyone else!

Embrace Simplicity did a poor job chronicling the 50th reunion of Francis Lewis High School (Queens) at the beginning of May, 2014.
Trying to gather several hundred people together to take a group shot, they used a garbled speaker system to call people over. All the people on my side of the room had no idea what the photographer was saying. i went over to tell him no one understood what he was asking (the speaker sound was low and distorted) and the photographer simply shrugged.
The resulting picture, which was sent two months later, is poorly printed, missing at least 25% of the attendees, and many of those in the picture are looking in the wrong direction.
The company was also charged with creating a DVD showcasing the various shots they were taking at the tables. The disc they sent was foolishly burned so that only those with Windows PCs could use it. (On the disc was scribbled «DVD, PC only.» Actually it was a CD, not a DVD.)
Why any video company in 2014 would create a disc that only plays in Windows machines is beyond me. Embrace Simplicity effectively prevented what I would fairly say was at least 50% of the guests who own Macs, from ever seeing the video of their own reunion.
The company performed in an amateurish manner. I wouldn’t hire them.
