Concept Components has been supplying machined parts for over 25 years to the leading Electronics, Medical, Aerospace, Military, and Automotive companies in the United States. With our state of the art equipment, we have the expertise to produce your part from a wide variety of alloys. We can work from your cad file, blueprint, or sample to manufacture your part to your exact specifications. We have the capabilities for plating, heat treat, painting, welding, small assemblies, and special packaging and labeling if your order requires these needs. We are ISO 9000 compliant and ITAR certified. We can satisfy our customer’s needs whether it is a prototype or a large volume production run.

History

Established in 1988.

Concept Components was founded in 1988 by James McGuigan, a highly skilled machinist with years of experience in the metal cutting business. He opened his first shop, a 1500 square foot facility, in Bohemia, New York. James moved into a 9000 square foot facility 4 years later to accommodate his company’s continued growth. Over the course of the next fourteen years, Concept Components continued to grow due to their Methodologies, State of the Art Equipment, Delivery, Quality, and Competitive pricing. In 2007, Concept Components moved into their new 30,000 square foot state of the art facility in Bohemia, New York. This new 30,000 square foot building has given the company room for continued growth and to satisfy all their customer needs.

Growing up with a family involved in machining, I never thought I would be where I am today. Set out on a different path in life, I still managed to end up in the business in which I grew up. I decided to go out on my own and start my own business. That’s when I opened my first shop, a 1500 square foot facility, in Bohemia, New York. With business growing, we moved into a 9000 square foot facility in 1992 that was still located in Bohemia, New York. Over the course of the next fourteen years Concept Components continue to grow. I needed a facility that could accommodate our growing needs, but also keep our roots in the local community. My wife and I, as well as our two girls, feel that it is important to give back to our community and are active volunteers. Concept Components was able to remain in Bohemia, New York and moved into their state of the art 30,000 square foot facility in 2007. We continue to provide superior customer service with good faith and integrity towards all.
