Description

Specialties

Spud Point Crab Company is a truly old style Fishermen’s Wharf operation. We catch and smoke our own «Wild King Salmon,» which is the best according to all that taste it.

We serve hot dogs, chili dogs, and tri-tip sandwiches (the fishermen’s favorite), along with hot chili and our famous clam chowder and crab cakes.

The family provides hot coffee and beverages every morning, along with donuts for the fishermen, locals and visitors. Fishermen use Spud Point Crab Company, which is located right across from Spud Point Marina, as a morning meeting place.

If you can’t wait to take the crab home to eat, picnic tables are provided outside (with a great view of the boats and the bay). You will have use of tools to crack the crab. We provide sauce and lemon.

Please stop by, say hello, and enjoy the home-made chowder, a crab or shrimp cocktail, or the sandwich of the day alongside Sonoma County’s beautiful Bodega Bay. Or purchase the catch of the day to take home for dinner.

History

Established in 2004.

The Anello Family began their fishing history in Italy and brought it to Bodega Bay just after the turn of the 19th Century when Grandfather Anello brought his first fishing boat.

Spud Point Crab Company, owned by Tony and Carol Anello, opened on July 10, 2004. This family operated business is a dream-come-true for Tony and his wife, Carol – Tony is a retired Firefighter and has been commercially fishing since 1970.
