Waves Surf Academy (WSA) is a new and unique program that was created to enrich your next beach experience. The program consists of four different divisions — Educational Surf Camps, Lessons & Events, Beach Services and Student Services.

The first category of Waves Surf Academy is our Educational Surf Camp division. Our goal at WSA Surf Camps is to offer a summer program that is both fun & educational. «Education at the beach» allows faculty & students from a local University to interact with camp participants on issues related to environmental science, marine biology, geology, oceanography and other areas. This program creates an awareness of the relevant issues facing our marine environments while still enjoying the ocean! The Lessons division specializes in private Surf, Paddle Board, Yoga & Fitness lessons, Birthday parties, Marketing Events, Anniversary’s, & Donations. Our Beach Services division offers on the beach amenities like Surfing Classes & Lessons, Paddle Board Classes

Business Owner

Eric Dernick is a young entrepreneur from the small town of Delray Beach, FL. Eric is a graduate from Florida Atlantic University in Boca Raton, Fl. While Eric was a student at FAU he decided that there was no time to waste and decided to create his first business. Eric created Waves Surf Academy which provides city surf camps, private lessons, beach services, student services & WSA products. «I created Waves Surf Academy with the idea to enrich your next beach experience. I wanted to make a company that did more then just make profit. I created WSA to make a diffrence by making waves one person at a time. «- Eric Dernick.

WSA works with local high schools & colleges by providing student services. WSA has also been able to gain the attention from local hotels and beach clubs in the South Florida area. Waves Surf Academy is coming to a city, hotel, beach club or resort near you!
