Dr. Gupta, a board certified orthopedic surgeon specializing in Sports Medicine & Joint Reconstruction, is a native of South Florida. His academic background has taken Dr. Gupta all over the state, from Coral Springs High School, to the University of Florida, and then to the University of Miami before completing his orthopedic surgery residency and sports medicine fellowship out of state (New Jersey and Maryland, respectively).
Dr. Provo is a nationally known leader in Sports Medicine. He has worked for the National Basketball Association since 1992, first as a consultant for domestic and international events, then as Vice President of Medical Affairs. He currently serves as Senior Vice President and Chief of Medical Affairs for the NBA. In this capacity, Dr. Provo is both a league official and senior executive. He oversees all healthcare related activities for all three professional basketball leagues including the NBA and WNBA.
