Established in 2010.

The idea for www​.Shiv​a​con​nect​.com came from personal experience. It was created by Sharon Rosen who sat shiva for the first time when her beloved Mother passed away. During the overwhelming bereavement period she turned to the internet for help– thus the idea to create a comprehensive website for «Sitting Shiva.»

www​.Shiv​a​Con​nect​.com is a tribute to the unconditional love and support her Mom gave to family and friends.

Sharon Rosen created www​.Shiv​a​Con​nect​.com after sitting shiva for her beloved Mother, in hopes of providing assistance to other Jewish mourners.

Modelled after a «wedding registry», the proprietary «Shiva Registry» is a quick and convenient way to provide funeral and shiva information to people near and far. It includes links to deli/​restaurants that will deliver shiva food, trays and deli platters nationwide.
