Worst experience and customer service ever… The receptionist lady was so rude… Will be not going back

I went to Royal Palm for Botox two weeks ago. It is the BEST result I have ever had in 14 years. The staff was awesome, and Limor (the doctor) is absolutely exceptional. I only get the middle brow and eye area done every 5 month months or so, and Limor took the time to explain to me what and how she would put in the Botox. I ended up in a couple photos with friends last week and was shocked at what a difference it made. I have never had such great results. Limor is a neurosurgeon — not kidding, so she is an absolute expert. I have never reviewed a «cosmetic» person/​place before (and would prefer not to, haha), but they were so awesome I feel obligated! Oh, and they were $ 3 less per unit than the last (terrible) place I tried in Boca.

First of all, this place is a joke. One star is giving their professionalism too much credit. Prior to purchasing a Groupon I spoke to a receptionist to make sure I was a right candidate. She told me that they do not cater to women of color and sent me to their sister spa, RENU. This was the first red flag. I had one session there and after the session I had a few questions about the process because they do not explain anything to you whatsoever. All they do is have you sign a liability contract and charge your credit card. I tried calling the office for over a week after and sent emails and received no response. I was so frustrated at the lack of communication on their part that I drove to their office for an explanation. Commuting from Fort Lauderdale to Delray Beach is not fun. When I finally get there, I find out that they switched offices because a co owner pulled out of the business and now this particular office is soley for chiropractors. The med spa aspect of it is now at Royal Palm. Someone from RP finally got in touch with me and apologized profusely. I made an appointment with their office only for someone to call me to say that their machine isn’t working and that I have to reschedule. Now that’s understandable but I called to reschedule my appointment and guess what? No response. If you google this spa you will find that this is a common complaint among reviewers. Please do not fall for these 4 & 5 star reviews written by staff. I would not recommend that anyone go to this pathetic excuse for a business.

Went for my first laser hair removal treatment and it went great!!!
Finding it was easy, parking was available.
The front desk girls were super nice — I believe one of the girls names was Ally.
Kathy the skin care technician was very knowledgable and went over everything with me and brought me to the nice little room with a TV. I anticipated pain but nothing, it was a little sting and then felt cold, actually tickled a little bit. I did get redness which is normal, especially since I am so fair skinned.
My overall experience was amazing. I was out in 30 minutes, Kathy was a doll, it was clean, everyone was friendly and I can’t wait to go back in 6 weeks for my next treatment!

My Massage therapist was great. Being a therapist, I am very picky, this therapist cared. I felt that the minute she touched me. The desk staff were great as well. the older lady is a bit short… but she was nice. she just comes across as rude, but she really is not.

So, I just recently came to the MedSpa and was interested in multiple services. I met with the manager who was pleasant and knowledgable. I got a couple of great promotions and they even honored a groupon price for me! The office is very busy and from reading comments I see most people felt like the front desk staff was rude. We’ll I think for a MedSpa to be so busy is a good sign for consumers even if they catch the front girls on a rough morning. I purchased multiple services and loved the staff, two of them stated they were new and that is probably a good thing for the business since most reviews on here were around a year old and staff has changed. I had a massage there and it was one of the best! The owner happen to walk in while I was checking out, he introduced himself to asked how my consult went. He was overly friendly and charming. I’m excited to go back next week and try out the Hyperbaric Oxygen Chamber– I heard they’re amazing! Definitely give them another try :)

This place deserves a negative star! But, I give them 2 stars only because of the Techs … The Techs seem to be fine… Though I have to say that the laser treatment that they did was not any better than if I would have just gotten waxed. Actually I prefer waxing over laser. But my issue was with the Receptionist and the Office Manager as they are beyond rude. I stuck with this place for over 18 months but encountered numerous people that were just awful, horrible and beyond outrageous in their attitude and approach with their Clients. Finally I just said enough is enough. On at least three occasions, I was treated so badly that I will never return. I bought packages and have sessions left but I hate this place so much I would rather loose the paid sessions than walk through their door again! So that says a lot. Definitely, buyer beware with these folks!

Based on a recommendation from a friend, I used a Groupon to try this place out, and I am very, very happy I did! Excellent results with my treatments, and I will purchase more. They offer great value, the office is clean, and the staff is informative and friendly. Nicole is a great technician, request her if you can!

They get you in pretty fast and the facility is nice and clean. Front desk is friendly and I like their fish tank!

To tip or not to tip? I guess I would consider this a good place. Great location and nice office. Now, while checking out, I was asked If I wanted to add a tip? what? tip? I was surprised by the question. Has this happened to anyone else, and, are you guys tipping? Additionally, they’re alway trying to sell additional services, and it makes me a bit unconfortable.

Bought my wife and I a massage and facial for Valentines day this past Friday and was very pleased. You know what they say happy wife, happy life. Clean place, nice staff and it’s right next door to a place with 100 types if beer. They have this membership deal where you can get two massages a month for 99 bucks. I think we are both gonna join up. Thanks for a great experience, you guys made me look good this Valentines day.

I’ve come here for the past year for laser hair removal. The prices are great, each technician I have had has been very friendly and thorough, and the facility is beautiful. After my final treatment I purchased another package and would definitely recommend this MedSpa to others!

After reading the reviews I was hesitant but the Groupon was such a good deal that I could not pass it up. I have gone for two laser hair removal treatments and my experience has been great. After the first treatment I saw a difference. The staff is polite and knowledgeable. The old reviews must be from previous management/​staff. I would recommend them to anyone!

First time back into Royal Palm in over a year, and all I can say is wow, what a great job on the remodeling. Everything is so modern and updated, and most importantly Clean. The massage I purchased was a great deal, as I enjoyed the friendly staff. I will be going back again.

Like the other review stated the receptionist was rude and had even blamed me for being late once because she left the wrong scheduled time on the voicemail. I have had multiple appointments canceled due to either office painting or their laser not working. This has pushed my treatment back 2 months because they make it very stressful process to reschedule you and it has been much of a hassle. They told me multiple stories of the time frame needed between visits, all it did was make it difficult to make appointments on time. I started going here because of a Groupon and I would not recommend it to anyone. I give it 2 stars because it was clean, the technician was nice and they offer a lot of services. I attempted to get a refund from Groupon but was unable, so I keep going despite the terrible annoyance I have for this place.
Update: The treatment did not work, I only got to go to 4 of the 6 appointments before the I eventually moved to Boston. They pushed back my appointments so much that it didnt allow me to take advantage of the Groupon like I should have. Im not even sure that if I would have gone to all 6 that I would have seen any difference (laser hair removal), I imagine they would tell you that you need more.

So I was a bit skeptical at first after purchasing my Groupon from this facility. I didn’t even think to review it, I saw a good deal and click purchase so fast. After the fact I decided to check the reviews on Unilocal,lets just say I was bit nervous I had made a big mistake. Instead however, I decided to give it a try. I scheduled an appointment right away. Few days later they call me from the office to say that apparently there had been a mix up and it was a doubled book appointment. I try to remain calm as this was exactly what the reviews were about. However my new appointment was set for 9÷9÷13. This office location is in Mizner, very modern and great atmosphere. They offer a variety of other services. I walked in and the front desk receptionist Isabella greeted me accordingly. Everything was quick and easy, the office is so fancy they have these Ipad like devices in which you sign the documents and fill out other necessary information.
Customer service was great, very attentive and quick. I walked in at about 1:50pm and was out about 2:15pm. I was there for the laser hair removal and IDK what I have been waiting for, it’s painless and crazy fast! 10 mins if even, NOTHING compared to waxing. I didn’t grasp the name of the young lady that attended me but she was so nice and made me feel extremely comfortable. Only thing I didn’t like was that the room was made of glass, of course it was a type of glass where you could only see shadows but still that was a bit weird.
All I can say is that this location is under new management and I would definitely give it a try. They have a few specials running for $ 199.00 small areas. Check out their websites as they have the areas listed in categories.

I have used both a LivingSocial AND a Groupon Deal here. I was a bit apprehensive at first because my first go around was the first time I’d ever used these specials for a big purchase. Also, it was also my first time getting laser hair removal. Since my first appointment, I have had mostly positive experiences with the ladies here. I love their massage chair in the waiting area. I try to get there a few minutes early just for the chair! It makes a huge difference on a busy day. Its a great perk of doing business at this location.
I believe one other person commented that they put you in a very awkward situation to try to force a tip. I noticed this in my first couple of sessions. This is awkward to me because I never really know how much to tip– I mean, what is the standard for having someone stare and work on your private parts?!? Lol. Anyhow, the last couple of sessions I have been able to book an appointment without being even asked about a tip. So, I don’t know– maybe their office processes have changed. I would suggest that they consider placing envelopes in plain sight within the rooms or at the front desk to leave a cash tip.
Since being there, I have had three different techs. The first laser tech either quit or got fired, because I haven’t seen her since my 2^nd or third office visit. I ended up with a young, hilarious and energetic laser tech for my last few months. I believe her name is Danielle. She is always smiling and her goofy personality makes the process of getting your bikini and other intimate areas worked on, much less embarrassing or stressful.
The results are amazing! They use the Candela GentleLASE machine and I could see NOTICEABLE results for my Brazilian bikini after the first session. I would definitely recommend this location because of the fun and informative laser techs and the selection of equipment.
They often run specials on other products and services. I was provided an option to received reduced cost laser treatment on other areas when I first became a patient. While they were not at the same discount as a Groupon/​LivingSocial prices, the deals were definitely affordable and reasonable. If I was in a better financial situation, I would have added a couple more areas right then and there.

Because of my bad review the owner himself reached out to me and asked me to come back in so they could make up for the bad experience. My husband and I both had massages and they were wonderful. The owner Dr. Cantor let me know that they had been understaffed previously and not ready for all of the traffic they received from the Groupon but that they were more equipped now. You don’t often find an owner engaged in reputation management and I appreciated his willingness to make it good! Thanks Dr. Cantor! We’ll be back for another massage :)

This has to be the worst spa in Boca. I also purchased a groupon and wish I didn’t. They make you an appt and cancel it. Over and over. I have had three of my four appts cancelled and rescheduled. One they didn’t cancel till I showed up there. Another was canceled an hour before I was supposed to be there. Terrible way to treat customers. And they have the nerve to put out a tip jar. Tip for what — not getting your laser treatment done!!!
They were rude and constantly changed their story why they are canceling. I still have two appts left but they left me hanging. told me they would call and confirm if they could fit me in, but never did.
They also change the story on how often you should come back. First I was told four weeks, then six weeks, then eight weeks.
I think they sold too many groupons and just don’t want to honor them.
STAY AWAY!!!
