We are a professional, reliable, hard working generator distribution and installation company that takes pride in completing all jobs accurately.

History

Established in 2002.

Reliable Power Systems was originally founded in 2002 by Robert Biscardi and wife Margie, in Queens. After building a successful New York-​based business, Robert and Margie decided to head south to build something else – a family.

Reliable Power Systems has since grown to be Boca Raton’s most trusted source for full-​service electrical contracting. With an eye towards philanthropy they are committed to raising money for Cooley’s Anemia research and for the Cystic Fibrosis Foundation.

These northeast transplants presently reside in Delray Beach with their two sons, Robbie and Michael. They look forward to continue working at building a reliable business within the Boca Raton community.

Business Owner

Robert has always had a passion for serving the people of his community. In 1992, he became a firefighter and quickly became highly esteemed within the NYC Fire Dept. After 10 years of dedicated service, he decided to expand his horizons by pursuing new ways to share with those around him and providing employment opportunities and a foundation for his future family. Robert retired from the fire department in 2002 and opened the doors to Sun Electric Works, Inc in Bronx, NY.

It didn’t take long for this master electrician to grow his small business into a well-​known and bustling electrical contracting company. In 2006, the Biscardis decided to move their new family and business to sunny South FL — giving new meaning to the company name! In 2009 he started Reliable Power Systems, a strong addition to the company and yet another way for Robert to serve the residents of South Florida by providing safe and effective emergency standby power and the peace of mind that comes with it.
