Pizza Time lived up to the high expectations set by our raving friends! Hands down, my new favorite pizza in Boca Raton. Here’s what we loved and here’s what we learned. Loves: Food Quality, Taste, and Value We ordered everything to go. Will explain why we didn’t eat there in the next section. We got the garlic bread(my mouth is watering thinking about how yummy it was), a Large Special pizza with sausage, pepperoni, mushroom, meatball, green pepper, onion and black olives. We made a couple of specific requests to customize the pizza(virtually EVERY pizza place on the planet goofs up our very simple special requests; NOTPIZZATIME, it was PERFECT!!) and 2 cannolis. We paid around $ 47.00. Not inexpensive, but soooo worth it. The food was flavorful, large portions, high quality ingredients, and just delicious & authentic overall. Lessons Learned: restaurant dining room is tiny. We arrived at 5:15 with intention of eating there… but there was already a 25 minute wait, so we just decided to take away instead. Glad we did, because when we came back to pick up our food, servers and diners were all on top of each other. So, if you want to eat there… get there early or you can wait a modest amount of time… just know that your personal space will be limited if you dine-in. Just goes to show how popular this delicious, well-run restaurant really is. Can’t wait to go back.

Someone quick! Grab a bread ring! There’s been an olive oil drowning! It’s the cuisine at Pizza Time! The olive oil is smothered in olive oil! This is an old school joint that rolls with the abbondanza theory of quantity over quality. The BBQ chicken pizza was listing badly, oil oozing off of it. You almost wanted to deploy booms of breadsticks to keep it from hitting the canal. The Roman artichokes were in a pool of oil, and the rigatoni was al dente but slathered in an onion sauce that allegedly had some tomatoes and, YES, you guessed it… Olive oil. So much that both Popeye and Bluto wouldn’t have to fight over it. It’s a joke almost as old as the snowbirds who flock to this place The service is bustling and haphazard. It isn’t going out of business on my review but if you prefer the nuova cucina of more modern Italian cuisine this place is not up your alley.

Excellent pizza but terrible wings. A soggy mess. Very busy, Better to go on an off hour. Pizza among the best in Boca. Great cheese, toppings and crust.. Pizza even better reheated in the toaster oven. Makes the dough crispy.

Solid family Italian restaurant. Surprisingly good in a regular shopping center. The name sounds so generic and basic but the food is anything but wow they didn’t miss. Very crowded like packed you will wait but worth it.

This is a bit far for me since I live in the Lauderhill area, but I will keep coming back because it’s my favorite pizza ever. They are really nice here. Also, the margarita and meatball are the ones I always get. Along with garlic rolls, and mozzarella with marinara sauce. Mmmm delicious. kind of reminds me of my fav pizza in NY, named Artichoke Basil. You won’t be disappointed this place is really good.

Grew up on the old pizza time in Coral Springs and didn’t even know Bobby had opened up shop in Boca till recently. Food was outstanding just like I remembered! Prices are a bit high but you can’t beat the quality and love put into every dish.

On top of the amazing food the service is always great! They treat us like family when we come in, we’ve been going here for almost 5yrs and will never go anywhere else! Hands down the best!!!

This restaurant is close to where I work and always smells amazing when I’m walking the dogs. Then again the smell of Italian food is never a bad thing. I’ve ordered the calzone both times because it’s so tasty. I get it with pepperoni added. The ricotta cheese blend is well seasoned and has a lot of garlic, which is the best part. I feel like the more garlic the better, especially Italian wise. This place is pretty small and in a little shopping center with a Walgreens. For work we usually do take out and just take the food back to the office. The lady I work for and the other guy in the office always order the stuffed bell pepper. I’m not a big bell pepper fan, so that’s not something that I would generally go for, but the pepper is stuffed to the brim with filling and looks and smells delicious. You have to ask for the pepper specifically because it’s not on the menu and they don’t always make them daily. As for the calzone, it’s big enough for 2 meals, which is always a plus. The prices are pretty average for lunch menus. I look forward to trying other items from this restaurant when I’m in the mood for good Italian.

My big complaint with the pizza was the price. I suggest clarifying the price prior to ordering. We ordered 2 large pizzas, nothing special. We wanted it delivered 1.3 miles, so not a great distance. It was more than $ 55. I don’t mind paying for really good food but this was nothing special expect the price.

Pizza marguerita is incredible. Fluffy crispy crust with a fresh tomato sauce and fresh mozzarella and basil. Pizza is where it’s at here!

I’ve always said that if Don Frank Sinatra is playing at an Italian place, the vibe is legitimate and the food will be «molto bene. In a rare moment of coincidence, both Unilocal and a coworker recommended Pizza Time for lunch as being tasty food near one of my construction sites. Less than a 5 minute drive from Downtown Boca, a waitress with a slight but pleasant New York accent described their yummy variety of pizzas, paninis and stuffed peppers of which I ended up ordering a meatball parmigiano a Margherita slice with buffalo mozzarella. However, these slices are close in size to whole pizzas of some Miami restaurants. Served in a square layout, both slices were loaded with toppings and flavor. You could taste the cheese, the tomatoes and beef. Very flavorful and very aromatic! The meatball sub my coworker ordered looked just as good, but I won’t break the man code by asking for a sample. I do know what I’ll order next time.

If you are looking for finger licking food this is the place to come. We indulged with garlic rolls, stuffed artichoke, stuffed mushrooms, and margherita pizza. The garlic rolls were soft and brought right out the oven. So fresh and garlicky that it was delicious. The stuffed artichoke was so interesting and yummy. It was so hot that I burned my lips a couple of times. The flavor was incredible. Very different from any artichoke dish I ever had. Definitely something I would have again. The stuffed mushrooms were out of this world. Cooked with perfection and the right amount of bisque sauce covered them. They were stuffed with lobster, sooo tasty. The margherita pizza was great too. The crust was not too thin but not too thick, just the right thickness and it was seasoned well. It had fresh mozzarella cheese and basil which made it taste really good. Great place to eat delicious food!

I came here on my lunch break since its conveniently located by my job. I ordered pizza since I knew it would be quick. Should have ordered one slice since the slices are HUGE! They literally took up all the room in a personal pizza size pan. The staff is super friendly. This place is soooo busy and I can see why! Their food is delicious, I can’t wait to come back and try something else! The cook in the back has an Italian accent and speaks Italian here and there it’s so adorable! I will definitely keep coming back her :)

Came here for lunch. Upon sitting down we were asked how we know about this place and were given a quick look at items that were not on the menu, but were recommended by our server. Service was quick and friendly. The pizza was very flavorful and arguably the best pizza I’ve had in quite some time The atmosphere was welcoming big enough where it wasn’t crowded.

Having recently moved to South Florida, I soon became aware that the landscape was«pockmarked» with malls, invariably containing a Publix, a dry cleaner, a chain drug store, a chiropractor, a Chinese restaurant ‚& no doubt a family run pizza/italian spot. Every now and then a jewel sparkles through this morass of reiterative boredom… such is the case with Pizza Time Ristorante, a family-run Italian restaurant located in a mini mall in downtown Boca Raton. Enticed by many favorable Unilocal reviews we decided to risk another forgettable mall dining experience. Eric, our informative server with more than enough personality to spare recommended the baked clams even though we were only in the mood for pizza. WOW! NOT your usual dry breadcrumb stuffed clam shells … but instead the 6 shells were moist, garlicky& seasoned just right… not to be missed… telling us that we were dealing with a special spot and not your typical boring Italian mall restaurant. Likewise the salad had a wonderful HOUSE dressing enhancing ripe tomatoes, greens, cucmbers and onions… the pizza prepared with sauteed onions and peppers with a modest sprinkling of sausage was a 5 star winner. We finished off the meal with a wonderful tiramisu and a relatively strong cappuccino which would have benefited by a more generous topping of cream… Bottom line… if Neapolitan Italian food it is your thing… then Pizza Time is the place to be. Furthermore our assessment of this wonderful family run restaurant was confirmed by a relatively large crowd of regulars filling this pleasant, albeit modest dining room on a Monday night. Will return ASAP to sample some of Pizza Time’s many dinner entrees which includes multiple veal or chicken dishes and multiple elaborate pasta dishes. Yes, I gave Pizza time only 4 stars and not 5 stars since it’s only fair to leave some room for perfection.

This is a great family restaurant. Red and white checkered tables and all. I’m a firm believer in ordering the food in the name of a restaurant, so stick with the pizza!!! My favs are the fresh tomato pie and pizza caprese. Their garlic rolls are awesome too. I wish they had counter service during the day instead of table service, it would be faster and easier on the wallet. They offer pizza by the slice and have a rotating list of gourmet choices. If you are in a hurry, you can order a full pizza ahead of time and they will half bake until you arrive(if you want to eat it there.) They do have a pretty big takeout crowd too. For those resident South Floridians — it’s the same owner as the Coral Springs Pizza Time in the 80’s/90’s!
