How should you judge a low priced town course? If it surpasses or not the expectations of such a course. This one does. We have coming to this course often for months after work as it close to the office. We kept coming because it was well worth it. It has the friendliest staff who are always quick with a hello and wanting to help. The rates are vvvvvery low. The grounds, well they are best up but not as bad as many town public courses. Avoid the east 9. Definitely a place to stop in when you want to play for just a couple bucks. You won’t regret it.

It’s a very average course. For the price, you can’t really beat it, but it is what it is. The greens are in rough shape usually, people don’t fix ball marks or divots, and the«rough» isn’t really rough and it’s easy to hit out of. The course has a lot of wiggle room so you can shank a ball and still be able to hit it almost every time. For $ 19 after 3PM you get 18 holes, a cart, and 2 free(small) beers. Major complaint: They don’t do rain checks after 3 pm because«It’s Florida after 3, what do you expect?» That’s total bull. We paid, we should get our money’s worth. I hope a manager sees this and does something about it but I highly doubt it.

It’s a fairly convenient location if you live or work in boca. They offer a month to month players club with is a very reasonable $ 35 a month for unlimited range balls and other discounts. It’s not trying to be anything that it’s not so it’s always a good time.

My husband and I golf at a lot of the courses from NY all the way down to here. Ocean Breeze is a really nice location for what it is and what it offers as a PUBLIC golf course. The deals are amazing and the employees are very nice. Anyway, we just golfed during this beautiful weekend and had beers while we played as there was a coupon deal that we received in an newsletter email from OBGC. The grass was so green and the bougainvillea and camellias are in full bloom right now. Someone asked to team up with us as he was playing alone, so we let him. It was nice to have a 3rd player! Read a flyer posted on our golf cart that you can pay something like $ 35 a month to play as much as you want with some discounts here and there. We’d do that if we lived right next door! It is granted that some of the holes are in need of maintenance, but it is ON-GOING maintenance as they have 4 courses– South, North, East, and West to take care of. South is the most used course as it’s the first one you come onto from the doors. The North course has improved since February for sure. Oh yeah, I just noticed that the locker rooms/restrooms has a mini gym so that you could work out for a while before or after a round of golf or even work out while you wait for your spouse to finish a game, which I am considering on doing! ;-) We simply love this golf club more than the other ones closer to our place.

I have only been to their restaurant but I was very impressed with their Italian night pasta bar. Lots of fun and DELICIOUS! Surprisingly very busy– make reservations early or you may have to wait. The bar is a little pricey but close to home so we go anyway.
