I made my first pizza at the age of 14, i made my millionth pizza by the age of 30. Needless to say, i know pizza. I have been to many pizzerias in my life from L.A., Chicago, NYC, Fla to name a few. Not a good experience every time but this will be my first review of a pizzeria. For $ 2 they gave me a slice that looked like it had been sitting for 4 hours plus it looked like it came from a 14″ pizza. Usually slices come from a 18″, 20″ pizza. Very dissatisfied. Manager or owner was in his late 80’s i think and was way out of touch with reality. I told him i think this slice is too small for $ 2, he looked at me and walked away. I will definitely never go back. –1 star.

I eat here every single Friday for at least the last 8 months. The food is fantastic. The renovations are now done in the lot so it looks very nice. While the interior is outdated I really don’t notice. The staff is great and someone mentioned the owner. Have had nothing but pleasant interactions with him. Don’t believe every review you read. Its a great, quiet spot that makes you feel welcome. Jamie has always treated us with great service. Great server! I’ll be back again next Friday!

Went there twice… TWICE the owner screwed up the bill!!! I’m not ageist… but this guy is one that’s hanging on at the workplace to long. Bill was supposed to be $ 33…he charged $ 330 on my debit card!!! Had to wait 48 hours to get the $$$ credited back, second time it was by 8 bucks, but still!!! First time, I admit, great pizza… Second time, the slice that came with the lunch was like warmed over cardboard. Owner also berated the high school aged server. I think they’d best get some new management. Pay cash unless you want to put yourself through the abuse. To be avoided!!!

Pros: pasta sauce, real meatbals, calzone, salads, never too busy, always seem to appreciate the business Cons: inexperienced staff, outdated outdated interior, owner needs to update his wardrobe(but he is very nice and hard working). We have eaten there at least 15 times. My advice: stick with pasta, pizza, meatballs, chicken/eggplant pamrmesan, salads. Don’t bother with the fresh fish speial. They just don’t sell enough volume to have real good fish specials.

Ate here with a group of six last night. Empty restaurant, in season, should have been our first clue. Tired looking ambiance, terrible service, waiter totally inexperienced. Dinner itself when it came, was ok, same old, same old food as a million other pizza pasta places. When the bill came, it was twenty dollars overcharged. The server was clueless and when the owner finally came to table, he seemed to have cared less about fixing it. After much dithering they voided bill and recharged it. Never even an I’m sorry! WEWON’T BEBACK.

I’ve been here many times in the past when there were different owners and before the total makeover of the restaurant. There was a time when this place was really amazing, with incredible sauce, at reasonable prices. It’s still very good. The food we ordered was definitely above average. Our waitress was definitely new and in all likelihood should probably consider other options to make money. I ordered the chicken parmesan with a side of spaghetti and was very happy with the choice. The dinner salad left a little to be desired but those aren’t ever a good option anyway. Also the red sauce is pretty good… not as great as it used to be but pretty damn close. I also love the table designs here, as they are something that has stood through all the owner changes and makeovers.

if i could do ZERO star i would — went there last night– i did not even eat there– i went to the mens room before i sat– the bathroom was so filthy– dirt and smell everywhere– the tile walls looks like they have not been cleaned in ages– rusty bolts all around the toilet– ice cubes filled to the brim in the urinal — so gross!, actually the whole place was filthy– grime and dirt all over the tile floor filthy filthy rug going to mens room – , it smelled of old stale grease and dirt – God only knows what the kitchen was like! – there is an old saying– u tell how a restaurant’s kitchen is going to be, by looking at the bathroom! Dirty bathroom – Dirty kitchen!, my female friend was at the table and we left, she said the table top she sat at while she was waiting for me was so sticky and grimey– how do places like that stay open– cant beieve they have the balls to take peoples money and not keep a clean place!- no wonder there were only a few tables occupied

Hi I’m currently at ninos, the wait staff is friendly and the food is amazing. My waiter is really friendly and the owner is cool. There’s this one female waitress that’s not only nice but very beautiful. I recommend ninos to anyone that likes great food.

Great homestyle Italian food at an affordable price. The service is great and the staff is always pleasant. Large portions. We love this small gem.

My family and I walked in here. We were seated pretty quick and we had good service. The food was delicious and the waiter was great. The only down side to our visit is there was only one waiter there and he looked like he could use a lot of help. A man later came to ask us how the food was. We assume the man was the owner. Overall, we had a good experience here and we would come back here again when we happen to be in Boca Raton.

Booooo!!! What a bust. We loved the other location so we were enthusiastic to try this one, a bit closer to home. Wow, what happened? This«new» Ninos is actually a testament to why chain restaurants have some merit — they are at least consistent and can scale from place to place without quality or character suffering. Problems — Staff seem irritated that my presence forced them to work. Come on folks — bad day or not it’s your job to be pleasant and upbeat ! Food was totally lack-luster. Pizza — blehh. Ok, but when I consider that I spent 50 bucks to buy my family a large pie and a side of 2, no thanks ! Ambience — equally ukky. Outdoor seating is basically In a parking lot and inside something just doesn’t work… Can’t believe that this place is actually making a profit…

Obviously management change. Waited twenty minutes to order, all the waiter wanted was to push bottles of wine. Food took very long and was not good. Pasta over cooked and we all had to ask for more sauce. I will not go back and advise my friends the same. Wasted good money on bad food!

Service was terrible, too few waiters on too many tables. it took 45 minutes from the moment we got into the restaurant till we get our orders. the waiter was rude and the owner was even worse(we heard him also talking on the phone dismissing rudely someone that claimed that his food delivery took 2 – 3 hours to get to him) Hygiene was bad as well, we saw one of the waiters fill up ice in someones cup using his hand which god knows where and what it touched before… The food also did not come out at the same time. needed to wait for my side another 10 minutes after i got my main dish. the food itself was mediocre and definitely not justifying the high prices… if you are looking for a good Italian Restaurant… look somewhere else

I went there last Saturday with my boyfriend at around 8 pm –ish. There were tables available outside and one or two inside. Not empty. However, when we sat it took about 15 – 20 minutes for our server to get our drinks after waiting for someone to come to our table for another 10 – 15. The server rushed us, wasn’t very polite and was very scattered. We had the«pleasure» of sitting at a table to the far back of the restaurant near the kitchen and take-out counter. We had the view of the drink station where the servers were filling cups with ice and soda as well as wine. While we waited over 30 – 45 additional minutes for our food, I saw a waiter stick his hand into the ice and put it in a cup. Gross! Also, while waiting for our food, I could hear the older man who was responsible for cashing out the servers(and was clearly clueless in doing so) talking to a customer on the phone and arguing with the customer about how long the delivery was taking. He told the customer that it «didn’t take two hours for my driver to get there, it took one», then he dropped an f-bomb while talking to the customer and told the customer that if he wanted a refund to come to the restaurant the following day to get it. He then hung up the phone and continued to drop f-bombs and make insulting comments about the customer. All the while, waiters are running around like maniacs. When our server came to see us, after 30 minutes(while we continued to wait for our food), I asked him if the restaurant was always like this. He asked me what I mean by «like this» and I responded hectic and slow. He said, yeah its always like this. Then he ran off. The whole time, he’s talking to another table, barely paying attention to us and didn’t really care about the low level of service he was providing us. I also viewed a customer at another table finally standing up since he was waiting for his check for so long. Finally, the food gets there and it’s blah. Nothing special. This place sucks. Service sucked, it took hours for us to get there, eat and get out. All the while the food was nothing worth waiting for. Go somewhere else.

It lacks the quality, charm and desire as the Nino’s on Powerline/Palmetto. Personally, not many Italian restaurants survived in that strip center and I don’t get a good feeling about this one. You have to worry about a place that isn’t always busy and just how fresh the food is. I don’t have any complaints about the food, been there 3 times, but I was also one of 2 people inside the place. I say if you want great Italian and you’re a fan of Ninos, you travel 10 more minutes and go to the real location.
