Established in 2014.

Functional Fitness & Sports Performance Studio sweeping the Boca Raton group training scene. Started by fitness professionals and entrepreneurs Paul Christopher & Joe Drake the dream was to create a home for those looking for an exciting but more intelligent and intentional training program to reach their goals.

Paul Christopher:

With a background in Sports Medicine and Strength & Conditioning, Paul Christopher combines his love of fitness and sport to create intelligent and exciting workouts. Paul is all about elevating the experience and is looking forward to bringing this excitement to the new facility.

Joe Drake:

As the former Fitness Director for FAU Joe Drake has built a reputation as an expert and resource in the fitness community. Joe left his position at the university to pursue a vision of creating a unique fitness experience for normal people looking for extraordinary results.

Gravity and Oxygen has solved my «where to work out when I’m in Delray Beach» problem! I live in Chicago, but visit my family in Delray VERY frequently in the winter (like every month…). One of my biggest concerns has always been getting an awesome workout when I’m there, because there just aren’t as many great options as in Chicago. G&O has solved that problem for me! Love the high-​intensity, always-​changing, super sweaty workouts that leave me satisfied and sore. If you’re looking to get a full body workout that mixes cardio and strength, with great new equipment and awesome trainers, give Gravity and Oxygen a try. This is coming from someone who bought a class pack and lives thousands of miles away!

Love this gym! All of the staff are super friendly and the trainers are extremely knowledgeable and accommodating.
They have all brand new, state of the art equipment. The treadmill is powered by your own body weight so you won’t feel as much stress on your knees as you would with a traditional treadmill.
All the classes that I have been to are generally small, so it’s nice and personalized just how I like it. I’ve been to other group fitness classes that are a lot bigger and felt they weren’t as effective for beginners that were just starting. With that being said, this does not mean their workouts are not challenging, because they will definitely push you to your limit.

As a former athlete and someone that places a great deal of emphasis on health/​nutrition and personal fitness, I was so happy that G+O finally opened their doors. I had heard great things about the owners Joe and Paul for years and I was eager to experience a workout myself. The classes are high intensity and they have some of the coolest equipment I have seen and I have been in dozens of gyms. Even better than their classes are the one on one training sessions. I have had multiple knee and shoulder surgeries from my football days and Joe was able to guide me through a rigorous routine while simultaneously ensuring that I was pain free. If you are serious about getting in shape, give the team at G+O a chance. You will NOT be disappointed

The owners Paul and Joe are some of the most knowledgable trainers in the business, and great people as well! I’ve been taking Paul’s Gravity & Oxygen classes for a couple of years now, and each session is not only challenging, but completely unique from the last. No monotony here!
Additionally, their approach to fitness is so much more than cardio and weights. The functional workouts cover a variety of movements which not only help with building muscle and burning fat, but also keep your body performing at its best. I learn something new each time I take a class.
The newly opened facility in Boca is sweet! They installed some really unique equipment that I’ve never seen anywhere else. Also, they employ several different trainers with different types of classes throughout the day. There’s a schedule online so you can plan ahead which classes to go to throughout the week. Definitely worth checking out!
