My 83-​year old dad, a former pilot in the Marine Corps, flew with Andrew Boyd this morning, and it was truly the trip of a lifetime. He hadn’t flown in over 40 years, and relived the thrill of flying thanks to the Introductory Flight program. His pilot, Andrew, could not have been a more perfect match. Dad (aka Gump) sounded like a kid again. Best money ever spent. Thank you for making his dream of flying again a reality.

What a great way to check out the neighborhood! We bought a TravelZoo voucher for a flyover of the Tampa Bay area and the pilot was able to change the flight path per our request and focus more on the St. Pete Beach area since we had just moved there and wanted to see our new house from the air. I’m not sure that they can always do that, but it really showed us their commitment to giving us the best experience possible. A few recommendations: be sure to book your date well in advance. They are only in St. Pete days a week, and apparently those fill up quickly. Take precautions if you get airsick. (This seems obvious!). But you will be in a pretty small aircraft without much airflow… plan ahead. The pilot did ask us about this so they must have some measures in place, and we were fine, but I could see how it might be tough for some people and would ruin their experience, so just be aware of it and take any precautions you can so that you can have as pleasurable and incredible an experience as we did! We will definitely be sending our guests your way a «must do» when visiting us here in St. Pete!

I started using Beach Aviation last year for short flights out of Boca to Key West, Orlando, Tampa, Naples and the Bahamas and found the ease of use incredible! I could pull right onto the tarmac, unload my bags and the valet would take my car and park it until my return. Chas and the other pilots were always professional and I truly enjoyed all my flights. I enjoyed them so much that I decided to take lessons from them! I actually got to fly during my quick jumps around the state. All of the pilots that i flew with were ex-​military pilots with MANY hours in the air and I always felt safe and learned a lot when I was with them. I have since taken my friends flying with me and used Beach Aviation for scenic flights as well. I even splurged, one time, and chartered a flight in their jet, the Eclipse 500… WOW, what an experience!!! I highly recommend Beach Aviation for both chartered flights and for flight lessons. Make it Happen Captain!

I started flying with Chas back in 2011. His knowledge of aviation and gift of communicating the different techniques and situations really helped me over come the issues I was facing. He would often meet me at 6am to help with those issues. I wish you and Beach Aviation the best, you guys Rock!

What a pleasurable experience! On our honeymoon, my husband and I found a groupon for a 45 minute flight experience over the beach and parts of boca. It was really a gift for my husband, because I’m scared of flying in small planes. Our pilot, chas, was so friendly and hospitable. He engaged us in conversation without being too pushy and talkative, realizing that we were on a date. It really was a once in a lifetime experience that I would recommend to anyone.
