My interest in counseling began with volunteering in the bereavement department at Hospice of P.B. Co.

I started counseling children and adults who were crime victims in 2003 for my first internship, and then worked in the care center at Hospice By the Sea for my second-​year internship. In May, 2005, I graduated with my Masters in Social Work, and I continued working with crime victims at a local agency. I took my licensure exam in 2007 when I had my required 2 years of direct service practice. Since then, I have been working in private practice part-​time until my practice grew and I could work full-​time in my own office in Boca Raton.

I receive much pleasure in helping people regain a sense of themselves, increase their ability to function, and decrease their symptomology or distress.

Business Owner

I am very happy working in this field because I am able to help people directly with my specialized skill set. My previous career was successful as a teacher at an elementary school in Delray Beach. I have certification as a yoga teacher from Prem Yoga and Wellness. Before that, I completed an Associate’s degree from the Fashion Institute of Design and Merchandising in L.A. and my first few jobs here in Florida were on Worth Ave.

I am also very happy to be married to a wonderful man. I have an incredibly accomplished and beautiful daughter who will be married this summer to another wonderful man. She lives in Brooklyn and is an attorney in Manhattan. I have a smart and handsome son who is working his way toward a career with computers.
