The sad story starts with a pop-up ad saying that you have a problem and to call these folks… who offer to install virus cleaning software for $ 300 including«lifetime support». They take control of your computer and intentionally break things and install more scamware. If you call them later to fix the problems they caused, they ask you to pay more, but the endless series of problems they’ve caused does not end. This is the worst kind of «advanced support» scammer. You can find all sorts of reports of these folks bad deeds at the Better Business Bureau including a description of a number of FTC complaints against them. The best approach is to avoid paying these folks a nickel.

If there was a way to give this company NOSTAR I would. My sad story could go on and on. Suffice to say that I have had trouble with their Panda software three times and all of a sudden I had to call them. You sit and wait in a queue FOREVER and if you are lucky enough to get a tech, «maybe» they can fix it. More likely not, they’ll call you back they say. Well this time around I have been waiting for 5DAYS for them to fix the problem; the latest is they’ll call me after contacting the developer. This whole time my PC is showing a screen that«they’re working on it»…for 5 days… yeah, right. I called tonight and waited for a tech to come on for an hour. and they finally said we’ll call you back. That was 3 hrs. ago. They have the gall to call this«Best in Class Service» and your«time is valuable». What a laugh. They don’t waste time charging my credit card each month for this«best service». I’m cancelling. And hey, Advanced Tech Support! My ticket number was #15272890. Thanks for nothing.

Advanced Tech Support at is a scam. I uploaded a virus by accident on my computer, it was some kind of Java Script virus. Then I received a pop-up that a technician form Advanced Tech Support in corporation of Panda Cleaner needed to talk to me. When I called the number is shrewd salesman gave his pitch on how he could clean up my computer and take the virus off. The cost was a little over $ 200.00 for the year. The technician said he would text me on my cell phone when the work was completed. I never received a text message. When I got home, I finally saw the message that the work was completed. When I got on my computer, more pop-ups and Malware issues unfolded. Every pop-up was telling me to call Advanced Tech Support again, it seemed to me that Advanced Tech Support placed their own viruses and malware on my computer. Since they were not able to help me, I canceled my contract with them. This is what they say on their unsubscribe confirmation from SafeCart Payments: «Thanks for using 1PC Extended Support and Service. Per your request, your subscription will not be automatically renewed and your license to use the software will expire at the end of your subscription period.» So it appears they are trying to keep the money I paid them. This company is a fraud and they scam their customers.

A Start is to High of a rating for this company! Our nightmare began June 18, 2013 My computer would not update 2 important Windows updates. I was directed to contact Advanced Tech Support. It appeared that Windows was directing us to them. We were told that the computer had problems with the«Registry issues» and that subscription to their service is $ 180.00 Since we are a small business and could not afford down time, we bought into their service. Well, to make a long story short, it was about 2 weeks and the computer was still not up and running(Now we were interfacing with their Level 3 group, supposedly the most expert in computer repair) These So called experts told us that we needed Panda Security software in order to take care of the«Registry Issue» and that they would do us a big favor and install the software on both our office computers for only $ 300.00(Normally $ 500.00) Being shut down for 2 weeks we were frantic and bought the program. Then all Hell broke loose. My computer literally crashed, as in DEAD. My husbands computer’s E drive where all the office files were on, was gone. Now it is July 4th weekend and we are purchasing a new computer for me. Fortunately the store we purchased from was able to recover my husband’s E drive. Knowing the company is in Boca Raton, Florida and we are just slightly South of Boca, I demanded a refund. I also asked for the name of the CEO We were given the refund but we were not given the name of the owners of the company. We have contacted several of the local news stations with the desire for us to share our story so that others are not scammed. For those of you who have lost money, I recommend that you contact them again and demand a refund. These people have to be stopped. They cost us thousands of dollars in hardware and thousands more in lost revenue as they are doing to others.

I’d give 0 stars if possible After they worked on my computer, I had to purchase a new one $ 180 for yr support, $ 90 for malware, then they started charging $ 14.99 per month for NO service Run from this company!

My computer was infected with the ‘CyborLocker’ virus. This virus corrupts all of you files. Nothing is readable or useable, nothing. For 3 days Advanced Tech’s technicians worked on my computer. I did have to make some follow-up calls in order to get the work done. However, yesterday, one tech spent 8 hrs. and 20 minutes running programs which finally restored everything. I’ll defiantly be running an offsite backup, from today forward. Thanks ATS!
