Ac Cleaning & Repair

We hired this company to install a new AC unit. One year later it stopped working. Luckily I had a warranty and a «free service call» if I ever needed it. Well, one mention of the word warranty and they are refusing to come out and even look at. We have all original paperwork and promises in writing. The secretary who answers the phone is rude and obviously used to dodging people who had shady work done. She told me «the repairmen don’t have cell phones» so she can’t reach them. Eventually she said she didn’t even have a phone… even though we were talking on a… phone. So, with our rental property and 88 degrees and some hot and bothered tenants we just hired someone else to fix their sloppy work. Avoid this company at all costs.

Wish I could give 1 star. I purchased a living social deal for the duct cleaning. I have seen so many companies advertised on groupon and living social and the accompanying bad reviews of these companies on Unilocal.When I saw the great reviews for this company I decided to give them the chance.
Setting up an appointment was easy as their rep David was very accommodating. They even came out on the weekend.
The 2 techs first pulled open the cover for the unit and looked inside with a flashlight. They told me I had mold and It does not even make sense to do the duct cleaning because of this. By this time I’m freaking out as I just wanted a simple duct cleaning and I’m now being told I have mold.
But not too fear, the brave techs advised they can take care of it for me for the low price of $ 600. I told them I would need to have them come back another time (I didn’t plan on a $ 600 service. I paid $ 45 for the cleaning). I also wanted a 2^nd opinion. One of the techs then tells me if I do it right now today, he will only charge me $ 400 but it’s only for now. I told them just do the duct cleaning I purchased and I will call to schedule the mold removal. They spent 10 minutes and were supposedly done.
I called in an AC tech who has worked with my family for years, as I have no experience in knowing AC mold. He looked at it, and advised me that he could not find any mold in the unit. As far as he could tell, the unit was in great condition. It is only about 2 years old. these people are scam artists. I’m now convinced that no matter how good it looks I will not trust any of these living social/​groupon deals. If I want a duct cleaning I will call a reputable company and pay the regular $ 150 – 200 price.
Moral of the story: always get a second opinion.

Had this company come out because I found them on Groupon for 39 dollars they would do a 29 point inspection and up to 1 pound of freon. Perfect because my year old system froze up on me and I needed to know if there was to much or to little refrigerant in system or if there was something else causing it to act up. so after waiting on a no show apt one day the guy shows up seven pm two nights later unscrewss two screws to system in garage prys it open and says its frozen .lol OK then proceed to go outside to compressor takes off side cover and tells me he doest have the keys to unlock it to check pressure he gets on phone and says to someone we need to have keys in every truck. Come to find out from other guy I hired its a Allen key. geesh he proceeds then to tell me to keep my air off for a day or two with fan on and call someone to check my pressure. I said to him what the hell are you talking about what do you think I’m paying you for? He then asks to see my Groupon code packs up and leaves! I thought I would get a call and a apologize for the service. But nothing I hired air and heat dynamics for sixty five dollars he checked everything pulled off entire cover in garage came in house adjusted all my vevts checked my pressure. so sad to be treated this way just me and my disabled son living off ssi not like we have mine to toss away. Yes I called to company to complain still waiting for David to call me back

This is one of the most reputable companies I have worked with in regards to AC work. I had just moved into a new place and there was that «old house» smell. So I purchased a Groupon and they come right away. As soon as they walked in they were like, by the smell I can tell your AC is dirty. I was like no crap! That is why you are here LOL
I explained that I moved in a few days before and noticed it. The air quality was so bad and I was congested and felt sick every morning I woke up. They showed me the unit, there was mold and mildew actually on the coils and it was disgusting.
They gave me a great deal and I gave the invoice to my Landlord. My landlord called and got quotes from SEVERAL different companies and this company came in at the lowest price. They came immediately the next day and fixed my problem!
WOW WHAT A DIFFERENCE! While they were there I had one of the guys look at my dryer, which wasn’t drying my clothes, despite being on for over an hour. He said the lint vent needed to be snaked. I watched them snake it for 15 minutes and I have never seen anything like that come out of a vent. This is how fires are started! So glad they were there to prevent!
They were professional and so nice.
I get it, most people don’t have a disgusting AC unit or a dryer vent that needs to be snaked. I was very unfortunate to move into, which is a great rental, it just needed some work done. My point is, with the condition that my dryer and AC were in they could’ve over charged me, broke things, made up things, and made a pretty penny off of it, BUT THEY DIDNT.
You always hear about consumers being in a bad situation, which is only made worse my a corrupt repair company. Companies like this are like «knights in shining armor».

BEWARE OF THIS COMPANY!!! WILL BREAK YOUR UNIT ON PURPOSE!
I called this company because my AC wasn’t blowing cold air. I spoke with Vicki and David and they both assured me that they do FREE estimates. The technician Jacob arrived and immediately without saying 3 words started messing around with the unit. after around 40 mins. he comes inside, claims that it was a bad air capacitor and that I had mold inside the air ducts and should install a UV light or something of the sort. he then said that he has already changed the capacitor and is looking to receive $ 375 without providing any written estimate or paperwork. I explained to him that the service i had called for was an estimate and I was not told before hand the charges that he is demanding. He said that he doesn’t do estimates and that we call and they fix the unit. that’s it. I told him that I had spoke to the office and was assured this would be an estimate. he then said that he can take the air capacitor out and it was no problem. I told him, fine. take it out. I called another company to come out today and they said that someone had intentionally bent the refrigerant pressure valve and also cut the connecting wires for the low voltage input.
Also the bad capacitor was $ 120 to change

We used a Living Social deal which is how we found this company. I called and spoke to David to come to do an AC vent cleaning and 29 point inspection. He was able to schedule a couple guys to come the next day which to me was a good thing because our house was getting warm. We figured they would find a problem why our house is warm when doing a 29 point inspection. Well, they came and hooked up a vacuum to the downstairs vent and I asked if they were going to clean all the other vents and Jacob (the AC guy) said that all the vents connect to this one vent. Ok… So he continued to check the AC handler and showed me the «mold» on the blower and all over the insulation. Told him to write it all down and will let him know later if we would like to get that taken care of. My issue was the warm air not the little mold in our AC system. Jacob and his partner checked the freon levels and it was very low which was causing the icing on the coils. At the end of their visit, I had them add freon for $ 275. Thought that was the only problem. Well… after 1.5 days, the house started to get hot again. My husband called the company again to check our AC unit. The same 2 guys came the next day and found a leak. They «fixed» it and pumped even more freon. They charged again for freon and for fixing the leak. My husband tried to make a deal with them because they didn’t see the leak before. The only deal he got was a discount on freon and a 2 year warranty on the fix which really wasn’t a discount cause they pumped even more freon and charged even more for their services. The house was cool for 1.5 days and again my husband called and they came the next day. They looked all over for a possible leak. They cheked the outside unit and didn’t see any leak. Then they checked the AC handler and found another leak within the coils. Now I cannot believe they didn’t hear or see it the last time. So we needed to replace the whole AC handler. They gave us a price of how much they would fix it for. We DID NOT call them again to reinstall our AC handler because we lost trust in their competency. I WOULD NOT do buisness withnthem again. The only good thong about this company is that they do come out right away. Not sure why they have 5 stars because clearly they are not a trustworthy company.

What a pleasant surprise! I purchased the living social deal for the air duct cleaning and inspection. I’ll confess, my unit was in pretty bad shape but I’m moving soon and just wanted to do the bare minimum. When the guys opened it up we realized it needed a lot of TLC. They explained my options and got right to work. Awesome job and they even cleaned up perfectly after! Thanks Ronen and Giovanni! Job well done!

After leaving my review on 6÷8÷14 I received a message via Unilocal to call the company. I called and spoke to the owner, David, who was very kind and shocked to hear what happened. He apologized for the experience and refunded the $ 39 I spent on the Living Social Voucher. I appreciated his remorse and the fact that he offered the refund to me.

Located this company via Living Social, before purchasing the coupon we contacted the company and explained that the AC unit and ducts had not been cleaned in years. We were immediately advised that the coupon would not do us any good, and that they would come out to see what needed to be done. Off the bat, the fact that a company would tell you not to waste your money on something that might not be beneficial was wonderful!
The gentlemen (Jacob & Massa) were punctual, showing up early, which proved that they value their customers time. They were extremely professional, and explained in detail everything that needed to be done. They were clean, neat and took their time.
As a business owner myself for over 17 years, this is the kind of professionalism I provide my own clients and to be met with the same kind made our experience a great one.
I would not use another company for my AC needs!

Last Friday my A/​C r stopped blowing cold air and i couldn’t figure out what was wrong. It was getting really hot outside and i couldn’t even open my windows due to the construction next door. It was scared i would be baking for the weekend.
Luckily i called this company. I spoke to David and from our first conversation he did everything he could and made sure my A/​C was fixed before the weekend. They are reasonably priced, and they only charge you for the absolutely necessary work needed (unlike other companies who try to up-​sell you). And most of all, their costumer service is over the top! David constantly followed up with me to make sure i was completely 100% satisfied!
I most definitely recommend this company!

This is by far the WORST company I have ever had to deal with. THEY ARE COMPLETELY UNPROFESSIONAL AND RUDE. They had me waiting all day, promising they would show and never did. When we called the manager David, he was unprofessional and very rude, hung up the ph on my husband various times. DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY. They are truly unprofessional.

I’d have to agree with what everyone has said about this company. I just bought a house and my buddy mentioned i should get my ac ducts cleaned. So I filled out their contact form on their website, on a Sunday, and received a call around an hour later. I wasn’t expecting a call back until Monday So this was an awesome surprise. We scheduled the cleaning for Thursday.
Another review mentioned that they called when they were on their way. They did the same said about 45 minutes, and they showed up on the dot.
As far as service goes, these guys where exceptional. They cleaned out all the ducts, vents, ac unit, and outside unit. The house smelled much better after getting everything sanitized. The three guys that arrived were very friendly and handled everything very quickly and efficiently.
Would def use them again for my ac needs!

Very nice gentlemen. Arrived quickly and price was fair. Very happy with the technician I received. I got a great service call. They diagnosed my AC problem in less than 5 minutes. Thankfully they had all the parts with them. I was just happy it was done after the first visit.
They will come next week to do duct cleaning for my new house.
