Meet the Business Owner

Cortney K.

Business Owner

In June 2015, after roughly six-and-a-half years as an Official Reporter for the State of Iowa, I resigned my position and started Kilby Reporting, Inc. It has always been a dream of mine to own my own reporting firm, and I’m loving every minute of it. Owning my own business has allowed me the flexibility needed to spend more time with my two children — Eliza — 6; and Henry — 2 — attend their activities and stay with them when they’re ill. My husband, Brian –who is Operations Manager as R.A. Jones, Davenport — has been incredibly supportive and helpful in my new venture.

In my spare time, I love to draw, do craft projects with my daughter, do yoga, run local road races (especially anything involving the word «mud»!), and every once in a blue moon my husband and I even get a date night.
