History

Established in 1986.

BAC was started by Joe Baumgartner after a successful career at a Somerville, NJ HVAC business. Having a limited advertising budget, Joe learned quickly that referrals were worth their weight in gold. Joe continues to work with builders who have hired him since 1986. Many of his residential customers from the beginning call annually for tune ups. Coming from a family of HVAC installers, Joe shares the same work ethic and pride as his father. Treat the customers fairly, fix the problem correctly the first time, and that trust is earned. Today, Joe works with his son (also Joe).

Joe learned the HVAC trade at a young age from his father. After working with his father for a few years as a Sears installer, Joe was hired by an successful HVAC company in Somerville, NJ. Joe took a chance by starting a HVAC company. His shop was in his garage. Customers were very happy that Joe was honest and never tried to up-​sell them on services that weren’t needed. Business grew with little advertising and lots of referrals. Joe continues to work with the same builders he worked with in the beginning. Aside from his work ethic, Joe is not afraid to take on large, complicated jobs that other companies may avoid. Joe continues to educate himself on the changing technology in the HVAC industry.
