Bloom Party Center is the best option in the county in terms of product selection. Whether it be the standard fare of Budweiser or Miller, or the more exotic options of Chimay or Huyghe Brewery’s Delirium line. While the most basic(read: college drinks) types may be found cheaper elsewhere, a general survey of pricing shows that the overall mark-up is best here. Staff tend to be friendly and willing to make suggestions for any need. They’ll also try to special order anything you want. What keeps this from being 5 stars? Environment takes some points away. Especially in the summer, where the ambient temperature indoors is over 80 °F or 85 °F, and one isn’t in the mood for craft beer, you may have better luck at the air conditioned Bev Station. Winter offers a similarly bleak outlook on comfort while in the store. The only other detraction relates back to pricing. As the most well-established distributor in the area, you’d think when the nearest competitor runs a special you’d take a small hit and run the same one. Not here. It’s not a huge issue given what I see as a different philosophy(BPC is essentially the specialty store around here), but it would bring them to the 5 star that currently eludes them. Overall, probably the best distributor in town. But it could be even better.
