Good place to go if you’re looking for costume wear, not so great if you’re looking for everyday-wearable vintage clothing. You get the sense that a lot of their accumulated backstock is due to someone’s hoarding issues. As in: the staff commented on clothing I was trying on(as if I wasn’t there, which was weird), saying sadly, «Looks like that such-and-such is on its way out.»(Are you trying to sell clothing or not? You seem a bit too emotionally attached.) They had a buy one, get four free sale on clothing while I was there. I made the mistake of asking if I could substitute a non-clothing item that was on the 75% off shelf. All I got out of that was a heap of attitude.(If it’s on the 75% off sale shelf, excuse me for thinking you might be trying to get rid of it!) Moral of the story: not the best place for customer service or vintage clothing. Go if you don’t mind the attitude and/or are seeking some costumes.
