History

Established in 1984.

Our business started in 1984 in the basement of Antiques MN on East Lake St near Bloomington Ave in Minneapolis. Our lighting showroom expanded 3 times at this location as we added more services and items for our customers. We moved to our current location in 1998.

I started this business in 1984 with Jane L (a lighting showroom manager with an electrical education background). With over 10% unemployment in 1984, it seemed that the only way to gain security was to do a most insecure thing, i.e. start a business. My backgound is as an economist, lawyer and software analyst. It is very satisfying to help people restore their lighting treasures and create new ones. We hope we can help you too.
